Cutting After A Bulk

This Is Quite A Difficult One

How Long After A Bulking Cycle Can One Start Cutting

Reason For Asking Is I REEEAAALLY want to do the ssn 12 week challenge as i thrive in competitions and think this is the best way to go the rip up a bit but problem is .. my test cyp pin will be on 15 May so 36 days waiting equates to pct only starting on 20 June and the challenge starts on the 12th of June and i know a lot of guys warns one against cutting straight after a bulking cycle so im stuck here guys .. any advice ??

Sorry bud. You will have to extend your cycle if you want to cut and compete. You can't get shredded after a bulking cycle and maintain enough gains without lots of gear. Nobody who competes at an elite level does it because it doesn't work.

Personally I wouldn't think about cutting until at least 2 months post PCT you want your own test production to be up and going again. If you reduce your cals below maintenance while your hormones are in the dumps you'll loose your gains.
Just after cycle is when you really need to fuel your new muscles

@muscle .. ooooo I see my wording could be beter I dont compete on stage etc only lift recreationaly but I see what you mean with the gains that im going.2 lose .. damn this sucks

Bud just eat for now and keep your gains. Summer is a while away so you've got loads of time to cut for the beach

haha yeaaah ill just wait but was a great opportunity 2 get some help from the pros.as hennie and andrew are prob the best guys in s.a atm

There are loads of coaches out there Bud, you could even contact them through the SSN site later in the year and get far more personalized attention than you would for a comp when they have to help 100's of people at the same time.
If your going to spend the money on a coach you want a diet tailored to you and help as you progress

hmm maybe I should.do that .. just had some horrible experiences with coacbes previously so yeah but I just have to wait haha

I've heard good things about working with Andrew Hudson, I'm just saying that you could contact him after the challenge and get better help.

I agree with Rhino, I've seen Andrews workouts from a friend who is using him for the supashape challenge and it's intense. Not sure if I can say the rate he charges for his online coaching on the forum but it's not cheap at all! Another option to also consider is Marius, he is superb as well and he does come in cheaper than Andrew

I've emailed Andrew about 3 times over 3 months and no reply yet, so don't count on that working

Try Garry Stydom! You can even contact him on face book. He got back to my mate very quickly and they even skyp so he can explain things to him.
He doesn't compete anymore so coaching is what he does full time not part time like Andrew

Andrew is cheaper than marius.
Both guys are tops iam friends with them.
Andrew is now hard 2get hold of cause of him being a new pro.
Gary on the other hand is a legend.

Andrew Hudson is currently working with John Meadows (AKA MountainDog) who is one of the best coaches around and he's coached many IFBB pros and elite powerlifters. So if I was you I'd much rather go with Andrew since he's getting his tips from the top.

Got a quote from Andrew in February. And the rate he quoted was 1500 a month. Also includes diets and workouts. No training sessions etc

mr hudson is working on bulk 12 week package deals, he really is knowledgable, from what i hear he is now working with KOE007 from the forum. he is worth every penny in terms of bodybuilding prep.

yes MA is correct he is working with John Meadows, Andrew works out a mean training program and it is definantly better than going to Marius.

there was a girl i know working with marius,she sent the same update photo every week after she didnt feel she was getting the attention she deserved, the same photo, and every week his response was different.

And Gary Strydom, KOE007 worked with him for about 12 weeks R8000 for 1 training program, i have heard this via via so please dont hold me to the exact figure,but he was very very displeased about this and when he did skype interviews he only got spoken to about other buisness not even bodybuilding or training.

If you come out of a prep with Marius and you actually survive... I'll salute you.

Chemical abuse is just ridiculous with his coaching. Sad to say...

I really don't want to compete in one show, and then take a year off to recover.

His clients do look great tho, but for me, it's just not worth it.

Guess it's about how far you willing to go to win?

eish guys then im screwed i just really cant afford paying that money every month still a student you know .. ill just have to train myself then
