losing the last few kgs of fat? was created by dude1
Hey guys,

I am seriously frustrated with these last few fat cells sitting on my body and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how I could get rid of them or what I'm doing wrong?
I train about 1 hour of gym and run 10-20km 5 days of the week. Honestly eat healthy foods only(4-5 meals a day), take all the important vitamins and only get drunk about once a month with maybe some hangover mc Ds chow. My body fat constantly stays at 12 percent but I want to be around 8 percent for a marathon I'm doing in november. I've heard of unnaturally slow metabolisms but is that true or just an excuse for fat people?

Cheers

My suggestion would be:
1) calculate your maintenance calories then drop that amount by 300-500calories
2) track your macros, I know a pain in the ass, but a food scale and my fitnesspal will help
3) reduce sugar consumption to post workout only
4) do a combination of high intensity training and endurance cardio
5) avoid food 2hours before you got to bed

i think you need to work out portion size more than anything else. if you are having rice, measure how much u are having with cup measures(cooked weight) and if you are having oats measure it with cups(raw weight) other foods maybe meausure with a scale before cooking. then you can document how much food you are taking in and then make adjustments from there? to burn body fat you need to have less food than you need, but also if you are not eating enough you will slow your metabolic rate down. so its catch 22.
