Rapid fat loss advice for a vegetarian lifter was created by IronKobra767
Hello all,

I generally get annoyed with "my friend wants to know..." posts but I'm going to need some input here because fat loss has never been a concern of mine and I don't want to give my mate the wrong advice.

He's a 27 year old vegetarian. Good mass on him (when I found out he didn't eat meat I was impressed with his gains), been training for years. Done a few cycles, including use of test, Decca and some orals.

He's going to zanzibar in 4 weeks with his long distance relationship girlfriend and has come to me to ask if I can recommend a product to help him cut before then. He wasn't exactly disciplined over December and it'll be the first time in a while he's seeing his woman. Haha.

He suggested a Winstrol only cycle, to which I slapped him.

Problem is I didn't have much else to add after the slap.

Seeing as he's a veggie he basically lives off carbs. Lots of soy, etc.

I have a great supplier with a lot of options so any advice would be appreciated. Would using clen for 4 weeks help? I'm a bit clueless when it comes to losing fat.

Thanks gents.
Iron K.

Hey IK,

Just because someone is vegetarian doesn't mean they can't do LCHF/ Keto. If you were thinking along those lines it's totally possible. If he was vegan he would have to cut conventionally. But avocados, nuts, eggs, whey, cottage cheese, coconut, ect. It's all still on the table.

But it sounds like you are asking more along the lines of chemical help. GW works better with carbs than Clen, so it might be a good choice. The actual mechanism and reason for fat-loss between the two is different though (although you know that) so training will be adjusted.

Otherwise, some might stone me for this, but T3 is also an option (of course combined with an anabolic and possible an additional fat burner).

Will using Clen for 4 weeks help? Yes, but it's not going to negate a bad diet. Not saying his diet is bad, but his training should make him sweat like a hambeast. I have not read one anecdote of a vegetarian using Clen.

Hope it makes sense and helps a bit.

Great input brother. You are right. I had advised him that keto would not be an option so it shows my inexperience with fat loss. All my research in the last few years has been geared towards putting weight on my frame.

Thanks, I'll pass this on to him bud.

I'm a second hand vegetarian. Cows eat grass. I eat cows.
