Hi Guys.

Been doing a lot of reading on this.

Its a mind boggle.

They say 20% of daily calories Protien
30% healthy fats
50% good carbs.

Said... high protien is not so good for Test levels and that your good carbs inhibit cortisol and shbg.

Anybody wants to pit a brick in here?

Keto definitely boosted me big time.

My protein limit at that time was something small like 140g at most to prevent kicking me out of ketosis the rest of my Kcals was fat any kind. When the Endo saw my blood tests he told me just keep doing what you are doing. That was 8months after he wanted to put me on TRT but I asked him if I could please just exhaust all other options.

Carrying too much body fat converts Testosterone to Estrogen. So you want to be between 8 and 15% 15 being max 12 being ideal.

I would say eat your protein to your needs.
35% of dayly calories from Fats good obviously.
The rest from good low gi carbs like oats and sweet potato and butternut.

It is on you. It always has been...

I was shocked.

I will still eat my oats in the am... and then my carbs pre and post workoit from my sweet potato. Its my current regime.

Calories for the day. Kgs x 2.2 x 11 up till 14... depending on your activity level? This is the formula I use?

16:8 interm fasting? And coffee just pre workout. Not to get the cortisol too high.

Black coffee. I like 16:8 eating on an IF diet. I can consistently get leaner and maintain muscle mass while eating more crap than I get away with on a 6-8 meal a day diet, but I don't gain muscle as well on IF. Doesn't work optimally for me on a bulking cycle.

Yes I did 16:8 Fasting when on Keto and like it when cutting.

Actually now on 16:8 again and also moved my carbs to pre but I do take half a serving Vitargo intra with Bcaa and the other half post with Whey.

I also do Black coffee when I get to work at 07:00am then again pre workout at 18:30 or 19:00 but this keeps me up sometimes.

One of the best ways to get post workout cortisol down according to what I have read is some carbs post not way over the top so I would say take your carbs split pre and post.

Interesting that for Keto there is no benefit from IF, yet I only eat one meal for the day so I know cals are about 1500. Never hungry and lots of energy. I guess you can call it IF..
