Slow vs faster cutting when doing a fat loss phase.

Faster cutting I see as 25 to 30% deficit where you drop about 1kg to 1.2kg a week.
Slower cutting 15 to 20% calorie deficit where you drop about 0.5 to 0.7kg per week.
For context, I am an experienced lifter looking to get from 18% bf down to about 11%.
Basics in place, good training, high protein whole foods diet, sufficient sleep etc. Oh and I'm on endogenous production only, no chemical assistance.
The main factor to consider is for me to hold onto as much muscle as possible and also for the cut to be practical, so I don't want it to drag on for ages.
What's your guys' experience on this topic?

Well, you could do a PSMF to get as much weight off to start for 10days so you have a proper baseline to start, get rid of excess water and fat and maintain muscle.

From there you can be at new maintained then go 250kcal deficit and still train for muscle gain with progressive overload and try and recomp.

That would be my suggestion, but if you are natural, 10 to 15% max deficit and bring down training volume to allow for recovery to allow muscle growth..

If you were using gear, different story.

Thanks gents.
I'm going to go with an aggressive deficit for the first 2 or 3 weeks and then dial it back to a more moderate deficit.
I'm thinking of maybe adding clen, but will reassess in a week or so.

0.2mg per kg of body weight of yohimbine hcl
200mg caffeine capsules

20mins pre fasted cardio, 30mins of mod intensity cardio (heart rate 130-140bpm)

Take you clen post that and eat a protein and fat meal 30mins post fasted cardio. That will help alot.
