Coffee Whilst Cutting was created by Jeanie
I need advice on my current situation, I have been on a steady bulk for the past 8 weeks eating around 2700 calories a day (without including the sugar I put in my coffee). Throughout my day I am extremely busy and always on my feet, my daily steps are never under 15K, thus i drink allot of coffee which helps me focus when needed and I feel like my mind really benefits from it when it comes to focus and concentration.
BUT there is also the negative side: I have noticed that my skin has been very oily lately and that I am definitely more bloated than before I drank so much coffee.
My daily intake is about 8-10 300ml cups, each with 3tsp's of sugar and a tbsp of low fat milk. I also need to start my cut in a week and feel as though the amount of sugar I eat daily will most certainly stop me from achieving my goals.
I have never in the past struggled with addiction, I feel as if my mind has always been capable of easily undergoing change, but i have tried quitting sugar multiple times and somehow I keep relapsing
On the positive note, I for some odd reason started seeing my veins pretty clearly (especially in my bicep and chest area) and as someone with a higher bodyfat % (around 20-25%) this was pretty odd to me
What should I do, is it not a problem to still drink sugar in my coffee whilst cutting or should I simply try harder to completely cut it out?

Yes, 15g of sugar 8-10 times a day is 150g of carbs from sugar constantly spiking your insulin and blood sugar all the time.

I would love to see your fasted blood sugars cos if you are thinking you are eating 2700 calories that would be 600 calories through out the day which could be easily cut out and 0kcal sweetener and you have instant deficit.

If all your fat sits on your gut then that means your insulin sensitivity is going to be shot to shit.

That and you are pushing cortisol levels through the roof having all those stimulant pulses through out the day. I would stick to honestly 1-2 cups of caffinated coffee a day, and the rest decaf and give your body and heart a break.

If 1 cup of coffee contains 80mg of caffeine that is 800mg of caffeine daily excluding any other stimulants and pre workouts and fat burners. You are doing yourself a dis service at this stage.
