Hey so I started a new job about a months and half ago which has resulted me in only training at night around 7:30pm and I finish around 8:45pm. However I am only able to fit in a protein shake and another meal in before bed time. Is this enough food to consume after training? I am so use to eating up to 3 full meals after gym so just slightly worried that have so little to eat after gym might be a problem for progress

You can get away with 4 total meals per day 3 pre work out and 1 post, breakfast lunch supper post workout. They will be really big meals though.

How are your carbs spread up and what time do you sleep?
Is it a pwo shake and then an hour later a meal?

Also are you bulking, what is the situation. BF%?

I fall asleep around 10 pm, usually eat 6am in the morning, have my second meal only at 1pm. The rest of meals I eat between 5pm to 10pm..I have one protein shake after gym and about 45mims later I eat my last meal and straight to bed. My body fat is at 15%. Currently on maintenance calories but wanted to find out because I plan on doing a cycle soon and want to make sure everything is in place

Meal timing seems ok to me, sounds like a good plan for a recomp, and you won't overeat at night.
Slam one good meal in post workout after your shake and sleep.

Eating that close to sleep might be an issue, but other than that sounds fine.

5 meals a day is fine. Eating before bed is fine. I have done massive meals before bed and been fine. Carbs before bed can help with sleep and cortisol etc.

Everyone probably have their own opinion on meal timing and frequency. I personally believe in calories in vs calories out. Meal timing to me is only relevant when it comes to things like energy, performance or the use of insulin ,igf ,hgh etc.

From a results standpoint ,I can't see it making a drastic difference if you get your required calories/macros in every day.

Agreed, if macros and calories are out then there will be an issue. Hence why I suggested 4 square meals for the original poster. When you get more advanced then yes the 5% extra performance from the meal timing does add up over time..

Starting a new job can definitely shift your routine! It's understandable to feel concerned about adjusting your post-training meals. While having a protein shake and a meal before bed might be different from your previous routine, focusing on the quality and nutritional content of those meals is key. Have you had a chance to explore the KFC breakfast menu? They offer a variety that might inspire some ideas for nutritious meals to fit your new schedule after training.
