Breakfast Options??? was created by viking87
Hey guys.

I'm in a bit of a weird position now. I have no idea what to eat for breakfast, in terms of a protein source. Now heres my problem. Whenever I eat eggs or drink whey I get the worst stomach cramps and eventually end up just vomiting. Now it seems to be restricted to those 2 items. I have tried an isolate and the same thing happens so its really not worth it for me to eat those things.

Now I know you'll be saying just eat some chicken but then I'd be eating chicken 5 times a day. Tuna gets a bit to expensive, cottage cheese also works out too expensive.

Does this happen to anyone else? Have any ideas for a protein source in the morning?

Thanks.

why not get yourself some biltong, a little goes along way, at 80grams of protein per 100g of biltong it could set u for the day,its also got high iron and if u are having oats as your carb choice u will have a some decent amount of protein per 100g there to (12g of protein to be exact) so 30g of biltong and 100g of oats will give u close on 40g of protein to kick start your day...

Oh and I should mention that this only started about 2-3 weeks ago before that I had absolutely no problem with either eggs or whey.

Dj thats a good idea, I better go biltong shopping. What about the sodium though?

A friend of mine had the same problem with whey protein,
He stayed away from the whey for about six months and then he was fine taking it again.
It seems he grew an intolerance to it.

I used to get bad cramps and headaches from USN stuff, my brother as well, for us we changed our brands, but I am sure that you have tried that.

I have lots of ideas. Trouble is, most of them suck.

I sometimes feel like getting sick if just woke up and try to eat.

I wait a hour after I wake up then eat. But I have to mix my egg white with my oats.

Egg white on its own makes me want to hurl...

@Viking,
Does the whey and eggs want to make you want to vomit when eating on its own?
After training at 06h15 in the morning I make the following shake in a blender that doesn't go down bad at all:
Half cup raw oats
100ml Skim milk
100ml water
75ml cottage cheese
6 egg whites
1 egg yolk
50g Muscle Science Perfect ptotein
100g Clover Whey Protein Concentrate
1 desertspoon Black Cat yellow cap peanut butter
4 ice cubes
1 teaspoon Evox Glutamine

CIAO.

NB1

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

I tried mixing the ROCK HARD Egg White powder with my oats this weekend, and it nearly turned into scramble egg, but my, it tasted like CRAP!

But some thing go down well and some things don’t.

Eggs white on its own mimics giant boogers in my throat.

Hey man. Yeah its usually if I eat/drink it alone. I haven't really tried eggs with something else, but I'll definitely try that mixture you got there.

I had the same problem years ago, I use to buy eggs in bricks( I don't know if you can find them here, they are bricks of 1lt of whites used for desserts) the problem was the liquid consistency so as some of my friend I use to do 10white+2 table spoons of flower+2 tea spoons of apricot jam, cook in a non steaking pen, comes out as apancake and test good!!solid as the liquid eggs use to make me sick after been eating them for years
