Cutting Diet was created by milktuds
I would just like to know if you do a cutting cycle for about 6 - 8 weeks, when do you start your calorie restricted or cutting diet?

Let say you are on maintenance calories and you wanna do a cutting cycle in two months time.

Do you start the same time as your cycle or do you start the diet a month before or what?

Sorry if it is a stupid question.

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

makes no difference really where u start your cycle, but if u are doing a cycle with long esters maybe start that 4 weeks before your cutting starts otherwise u may feel the lack of energy associated with cutting. but depending on your level of BF it might take more than 8 weeks to get to where u want to get to... i would suggest using the 12 week period as the shorter the period and the more the calorie restriction the more chance u have of over training and loosing muscle which we dont want to happen... always take a longer time to do things then shorter, rather add cardio in and not cut the calories so much as burning up the calories is always better than restricting the to much...

DJ is right... I diet for +/-13 weeks and found it was a to short of a period of time.
I think 16 weeks would have been better as I lost way to much muscle mass in that time. Take your time or else you will burning up that hard earned muscle.
Train hard and do cardio but try and find a balance were you loosing fat but not muscle... it's hard but you will learn over time what your body likes/ dislikes with cardio and dieting.

I always lose more muscle than fat. My diet is pretty ok. Been eating the same food every day for the past 7 months. Obviously a bit more when bulking. But just on maintenance calories now.

I think I'll do 20 min cardio after my 1 - 1.5 hours weights. And maybe add some Clen. I don't want to lose a lot of weight. Just like 3 Kg.

If I pull the flab away from my stomach you can see my six pack, so just wanna get rid of the flab.

I can't get my BF measured because our gym doesn't have the equipment to do that. I'll have to buy one of those scales that measure BF as well.
