Cant find Ketotifen

Cant find Ketotifen was created by WTF

Is anyone else having the same problem as me, but I have been to about 7 different
pharmacies (in JHB) and none of them have adco-zetofen or adco-ketotifen.

They tell me there is a shortage, but need to get as my bottle will be empty tonight......

I have lots of ideas. Trouble is, most of them suck.

Its pretty hard to get. when I was buying they always only had one bottle. I'll sell you my leftover half bottle for R200, just joking. Adco-zetofen is apparently the generic form and there is one that is more pricy but not sure of the name. Might be by Pfizer but not sure. Have you been trying the clicks pharmacies, those are the ones that usually have?

I've tried the clicks, dischem, the pharmacies and even the woolworths pharmacies.

I dont think they are lying about the shortage, there was only one clicks pharmacy that really ever had and it was always one or two bottles. Have you tried Springbok Pharmacy? Try see if you can get the other one Im talking about, just wish I remembered who its made by

I think I will have to, but it something like R280 or R290 a bottle, as opposed to the adco one which is R60

Gees, I didn't realise it was that much more expensive, could buy a bottle of clen for that. Can you get a hold of benadryl?

Its also an antihistamine. Not sure if it works exactly the same or by a similar mechanism. I know the guys on meso use it with clen for upregulating Beta 2 receptors. I just dunno if its available and affordable.

I have to put in an order for my ketotifen every time. Nobody stocks it here.

Found some in dis-chem woodmead, they had four bottles, I took all four. that should last a bit

The Zaditen syrup is made by Nova. Expensive! R276 from a Clicks in Bloem.
