Why is Lipo a dirty word? was created by BigDave
I'm not talking about someone who is overweight, but they're just too lazy to diet and exercise so they just go get lipo.

I'm talking about people who have busted their butt, getting down to a low body fat %, yet they still have stubborn fat deposits obscuring their physique due to genetics.

A friend of mine has massive arms and shoulders, with cuts. Yet he has the worst spare tyre i've ever seen. He is embarressed to take his shirt off in public. When he diets down it does get smaller, but its still way out of proportion to the rest of his body. I told him screw it just go get lipo.

In these cases what so wrong with lipo?

Lipo is for lazy-ass rich people who have nothing better to do with their money,gastric-bypass surgery is for fat fuckers with vacuum cleaners for mouths.Your friend needs to do alot of intense cardio,it MUST break down the fat around his stomach with a proper diet.He can also try some clen,or even Ripped hardcore from muscle science, they both have a magic 6-pack ingredient ;)

well put it this way, if you allow yourself to put on weight then you are left with cells that will not vanish... they can only shrink....

depends on the size of him, but mostly should become non exsistant.... i dont know enough about lipo to comment... I feel its a cheat way too... rather put the hard work in to remind yourself of how hard it is to lose...

Oh, wow so lipo is cheating and steroids are not... very opened minded.

Steroids allow you attain a body you wouldn't be able to obtain through diet and exercise, due to genetic limitations. Sounds like cheating to me.

What's the difference?

For one, The one you still have work hard and diet to achieve .

The other is: Pay the roobals and suck the fat away you too lazy to work off.

I no of a ex mate who had lipo cause he couldn't control his lift style (eating kak and alot of it)

2 yeas later and the pounds are nearly back.

You may call it cheating if you want. Simple fact is one is pure laziness.

The other takes alot of dedication and effort.

Steroids wont help much if you not eating proper as well .

So steroids has : Diet , dedication , hard work

Liop: Gold card

Never fraternize with them as equals, never accept them as your social equals or they will devour you, they will destroy you.

I agree with tiny, people who need LIPO are just fat lazy ppl, in some cases it may be genetics but surely that bad "jean" can be minimized with some hard work in the gym...

Lipo isn't what it used to be. Everyone has this picture in their head (like the cartoon) of an obese person that gets hooked up to a hose and gets the fat sucked out of them.

They have laser lipo today, which can used to dissolve stubborn fat deposits - effectively spot reducing a small problem area.

I have no doubt most of the top IFBB pros have had laser lipo sculpting of their abs or other areas.

Im WITH BigDave on this one. Especially tough to get rid of some deposits as you get older. In my case these damp love-handles!
Thats why i hate people advocating too much oblique work. The slightest layer of fat and it looks like a tube.
But thats not the worst problem i have - its the pack at the back thats most difficult. Mine doesnt fully disappear either - just gets small.

Had Lipoma removed some years ago and the plastic said that once you have dieted down he would remove that last bit as there is no other way to get rid of it.

Mine were benign. They mostly are. If they get bigger than 1 cm its advisable to take them out to check. If you are prone to get them they will keep comming back. Its quite common - i know quite a few people who have them. Mostly just a little hard lump under your skin that moves around. If it stays in one spot - check it out immediately cause its probably not lipoma.
