Too much PB makes me feel sick though. My body doesn't like fats for some reason.

I use 6 table spoons whey, 1 giant table spoon peanut butter, 1 canderel stick and a few drops of water. To this I add one sachet of the pick n pay instant oats that come in tons of flavours and I mix it all and it makes two protein bars. And they taste good and much cheaper than the USN protein bars which are also just loaded with short sugars

You don't bake it.

Just mix, then eat strait away or keep it in the fridge... (It feels very dry if you do it right but will become a mushy mess after a few hours if you don't refridgerate it)

Best Tasting Homemade Protein Bar

Protein is a big part of a bodybuilding diet. Sometimes it can be difficult to get all the necessary protein (1 - 1.5 grams per pound of body weight) throughout our busy days. I know it’s difficult for me at least.

That’s why I like to use my homemade protein bars when I’m on the go and don’t have time to cook (did that sound like an endorsement line?).

It’s far better than eating a semi-healthy restaurant meal and way better than fast food.

The problem is that most store bought protein bars are typically what I call “sugar-filled, over-processed, soy-protein filled, over-priced crap.”

What’s the solution?

Make your own!

It’s 10x cheaper and actually taste amazing (especially if you like peanut butter!). Here’s my recipe with pictures.
Ingredients:

* Whey Protein Powder
* Natural Peanut Butter
* Oats
* Milk

Instructions

1. Get Bowl

2. Add 3.5 cups of whole oats

3. Add 5 scoops Whey Protein Powder

4. Add 4 tablespoons of natural peanut butter

5. Add 1 cup milk

6. Mix it all together! It gets a little messy, so don’t be scared to dig in.

7. Important! Spray Pam on a separate plate.f

8. Place contents on plate and play with it until it forms a rectangle shape.

9. Cut into 4 equal bars

10. Refrigerate for at least a few hours, and enjoy.

Voila.

I think the yogurt is your problem.

You might be adding to much water... Especially if you adding yoghurt you might not need water. All the products together are normally quite dry but you only need add a little water and they get mushy. You don't solidify them in the fridge you need to make them solid. Add all the ingredients and mix, then slowly add yoghurt to desired consistency (firm but shapeable). If its still to dry slowly add and mix in a little bit of water at a time. Make a large batch and keep them in the fridge to keep the already solid bars solid.

I would suggest you don't add the yogurt as yogurt splits over time and this will then make it watery. If you want to use yogurt then put it in forms and on a cheese cloth that's raised into the air. This way you'll allow it to drain and for it to solidify. I hope this makes sense.
