Hi Guys

Please can you look at my diet and give some advice please? Also look at the supplements I use? I'm battling to lose weight around my middle. I weight 80kg and my bodyfat is around 18%. I train at 6:15 AM. 3 x weights and 3 x cardio (20 minute treadmill at different intensity levels).

I have included an actual day's menu and most days are similar to this.

LSJ doesn't sell creatine tabs that you have to take 4 each and products called Pure Protein ect.

Yep the Pure protein and Creatine is USN!

I was told LSJ's whey protein is the way to go. Any better alternatives to Pure protein?

So you train at 6:15 in the morn so I assume you have the banana and whey before your workout? Try substituting the banana for a lower Gi carb as you eat your first meal one hour before you workout. You say you train cardio 3x a wk as well as weights so there must be some days that you are only doing cardio, am I right? If so then on these days do the cardio on an empty stomach. You also eat frozen carrots which are very high in carb, maybe substitute these for a lower gi carb or replace the carrots with low carb veggies as the beans contain carb. Take out the lean mince, its not as lean as you think it is and add chicken breasts instead

I only have the pure protein before I go to bed. Can I still substitute it with cottage cheese? I use Whey during the day.

I have heard mixed advice on the cardio on an empty stomach scenario. I wake up at 5:20 and run at 6:20 is this still ok to be running on a empty stomach?

The data I submitted was an actual day's data. I don't always eat lean mince but I try to change it every now and then by using fish, chicken breast etc. But I will try eliminate lean mince

Empty stomach cardio in the morning will waste musle tissue.
You would better off to have something low gi (plain oatmeal no sugar) and whey 45 minutes before you start running.

I want more food...

Cottage cheese is king before bed. It is slow absorbing and lets your buddy feast into the hours of sleep.
Whey during the day is 100%

I want more food...
