Waxymaise was created by Supercharged
Has anyone of you have any good suggestions on how to prepare waxymaise for consumption. Its texture is a lot like custard so I am pretty sure it can be prepared like custard or will it be better to add it to a protein shake?

Thanks in advance.

Dj...what would the benefits be by adding waxymaise to your whey and would you have it before, after, or before and after a workout? Thanks... B)

i have read studies from will brink who is like the supplement worlds myth buster... waxy maise starch is effective as a complex low gi carb replacement for meals. plain and simple,so taking it before work outs is like having a bowl of oats which is cool as u want sustained energy for your work out.. i think its point less taking it post work out as it doesnt spike insulin levels which help in replenishing glycogen stores... yes it might exit the stomach at 70% faster than dextrose but it has no effect on insulin levels to help shuttle the nutrients to the muscle... so yes pre work out it is a good option, post work out stick to vitargo and dextrose..

With that in mind, whats your take on Hard Mass by MW, as it contains waxy maize starch, but is still recommended for post workout recovery

Okay DJ thanx

What would you describe as the perfect MRP? Because as I see it, and correct me if I'm wrong, waxy maize leaves the stomach very quickly which imo will not keep you full for very long, and the dextrose and malto will give you that unwanted insulin spike.

TIA

Okay but can you maybe tell me the best one in your opinion, some days I find it difficult to eat 6 solid meals...

I read a Q&A on RX Muscle with Dave Palumbo and according to him WMS is the best for post workout, better than Vitargo he says.

well i think thats bullshit, cos there is the supplement guru will brink who destroys myths in the supplement industry where they did tests and WMS doesnt do half the things its claims to..palumbo also advocated protein and veg days which will make u go catabolic...everyone has their own views and what works for them..i havent had a single complaint about using dextrose post work out...

Thanx

The carbs you mentioned, can you give me some more info on which one to use in combonation with whey?
I only know about WMS, dextrose and maltodextrin.

Blend up some oats, whey, and a healthy fat source. You can even add in a sugar free MRP supplement that contains FOS for flavour if you want.

Sorry if I offend you
Its just my point of view

Does anybody know the percentage (%) carb content of raw (from LSJ) WMS?

I find that I have nice and sustained energy release on WMS and don't get that bad sugar crash I get from dextrose, I know this isn't ideal but I feel a hell of a lot better.

Seeing that its now been established that WMS is not that great post workouts. How will it do as a post cardio candidate?

If not, what will be best post cardio.

Any low gi carb I guess. Thing is with waxy miaze, they say it doesn't spike insulin levels to a great extent like Vitargo etc. But waxy maize starch pulls through the gut quicker (with all these nutrients in your shake) and enters your bloodstream much quicker than Vitargo or any other carb and will still cause an insulin spike. I don't know if it's true, but I just stick to my Dextrose for now. Post workout for weights that is.

vega depends on the type of cardio u are doing,if u are doing HIIT then personally i feel that dextrose will be good...have the WMS pre cardio and the dextrose post..
