snok if he cant even consume something that simple digest like oats how is he supposed to consume something thats gonna cause digestion issues,if he gets salt and electolytes back in he will hydrate the muscle preventing him from going to catabolic during recovery...keep things simple.the weight loss he will experience will be from dehydration and the strength and energy level loss is from no water being in the muscle..do the simple things before u try anything drastic...

well the problem is that your body will need to digest everything...with the energade the carbs and fluid will pass through the gut quickly replenishing glycogen stores... plus u will get more minerals out of energade vs doughnuts...those will also make u feel sick,if u cant get oats down how are u gonna get high fat products down like doughnuts and cream...

Hey Tiny, it's a nasty bug, I got it myself and know a few other peeps that got it as well. Was "leaking" on average 20 times a day and had no appetite. I realise this reply is to late (I have been very busy and missed this thread) but here is what I did. After 12-36 hours of the runs already had a hangover (dehydration) so I got some electrolytes and water. I downed that stuff like its out of fashion all day long and rehydrated. But I hadn't eaten well for 48hours due to lack of appetite, so I got some LOPERAMIDE to stop the runs and manned the fuck up. For the next five days I still had runny stool but I force fed myself every last damn calorie that is part of my current diet.
Now I'm all better... Yay.
