I bought a Slimguide skin-fold caliper for R211 from Take2

I know how the forum feels about USN, but here's my take...
IMO the USN caliper (R20) is more accurate than the VA machine and the Personal trainer who told me I'm 18% bf, but he even admitted he thinks his caliper is lying (5 point skin fold)...

Problem with those is that there is no tension release(Torque release??) so i'm always at around 3% because i pinch myself till i'm blue! Anything for a low fat%!

LOL

I agree, that is a problem, but if you can apply consistent pressure every time you measure, I see nothing wrong with the cheap blue caliper :P

Hey, not going to start a new thread if there's already one, so sorry for resurrecting.

I'm getting conflicting measurements from the electronic bf measurements so been checking at getting my own calipers... Looked at this one :

www.accufitness.com/index.php?option=com...icle&id=70&Itemid=69

Anyone use it? Are all calipers equal, should I just get a cheaper one, etc. etc. ?
