Recently I was told that one can eat a lot of carbs every 18th meal, during off-season, and this will help gain lean muscle without adding extra fat to ones physique.

At the moment my diet's nutritional value is equal to +- 375gprotein, 170gcarbs and 50gfats. Carbs are cut out of my last 2meals, that is why they are not high.

Now my question is if I eat something super high in carbs, like a pizza, every 18th meal will this promote fat gain in the long term?

I would really appreciate to hear from people who have tried this.

Its pretty much carb cycling, so it should benefit you but keep to cleaner carbs if you can

if i was you i would drop the protein slightly to 360g,on "low carb days" drop the carbs to 120 for the day(split breakfast,pre work out,post work out) and then up the fats about 90g a day, then on a high day drop the fats down to 50g again and add in 200g of carbs into the diet. try do it clean,if not have it as a cheat meal,do this twice a week.preferably on a day before legs,and the day of back or vice versa.
