Hmm
Caffeine has it's place and in bodybuilding is used to stay focused in the gym and have a little more intensity, hence the reason it is part of an ECA stack.
Once again everything in moderation is fine, I find coffee pushes up my blood pressure, no reports say coffee is bad for your kidneys however in my case it just presses it up.
Now the funny thing chicory in coffee (found in your cheap coffees) is what causes the increase in blood pressure in my case anyway. I stick to Jacobs or Lavazza.
Green tea also contains allot of caffeine so I wouldn't recommend it at night, rather use camomile. However green tea during the day can help lower blood pressure and is filled with antioxidants.
Hmm, Rooibos tea is actually good for you and you can drink quite a few cups a day, but just try not use sugar. That will act a natural diuretic too.

It has been proven by those who drink it to help relieve anxiety, treat asthma, hay fever, stomach cramping, soothe irritable bowel syndrome, boost the immune system, cure insomnia and help colicky infants.

That is just a snippet of some of the benefits of Rooibos, Salon tea I would rather limit as I have researched drinking large quantities increase your chances of kidney stones. (My dad for one)
Hope that helps a little.
