Hi guys

Just thought id give an update on my progress. Its day 10 of my diet and things are going well, or at least so it seems. Ketostix stayed dark pink up until Monday which was my post carb-up day and the levels of ketones were delineated by a light pink colour. Anyway, weighed myself and it seems I went from 89kg (previous weight when starting the diet was 90,4) to a whopping 92kg as of today. My problem is, I don't know if the jump in weight is due to water retention following my post carb-up period; muscle gain from the 50mg Tbol and test cyp cycle im running; or just the fact that im still eating more calories than required.

Ive cut my calorie consumption to 2300 per/day which consists of about 175g protein; 178g fats and 20g carbs. What I must admit is that i've become extremely hard and carrying around a massive pump. Also, at 15-16% BF i never noticed any vascularity for a while. However, all of a sudden i've noticed veins popping out on my delts and tiny ones are also visible on my biceps.

Anyways; was wondering if anyone would recommend me bumping down my protein intake a notch or whether my current macro-nutrient breakdown is ok

I think take your weight the morning of your carb up and not after your carb up, that way you will know that a weight increase is from the anabolics and not water

Try taking Proviron throughout your course.
My muscles have filled up with glycogen from carbing up.. You should drop that weight in the next 2 days. Always do legs the day after your carbing up.
Have 1 carb up session every 2 weeks.
Your calories are fine... keep them there and train hard!!!

Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...

Cheers mate

Anyways, you gonna hate me for saying this, but i always leave legs for last training session before the depletion workout. Using the excess glycogen in the system for my back and chest after my carbo load which is a bit weak i know. As for doing my carb-up once every two weeks, im afraid i wont follow through on the diet if i do so as the cravings become intense. Also cant add the proviron as im somewhat prone to MPB and dont want to elevate DHT levels to high.

Guys; just as a general question, do you find yourself getting hot flushes while on the CKD diet. I feel like im burning up all the time. Pretty much like the feeling one gets off running T3 for example.

I think the main reason for doing legs after Carbo Loading is to get rid of the Glycogen AS SOON AS POSSIBLE... and its the biggest muscle... Hence, will get rid of the glycogen the quickest.
But anyway, whatever works for you bud.

Definitely, it is the largest muscle but I also try and reach a state of ketosis after my carb-up day by hitting some intense HITT cardio session which seems to make a massive differnce but i understand ur logic mate. So how long have u been on the diet MR SA and how your results been?

I have been on Keto before... for only 2.5 weeks, and lost about 5kg's.
I will be starting on Sat again for 5 weeks.

Hey DJ

Good point mate. Alhough ive decided to stop weghing myslf and rather just measure my BF every week. Hot flushes i get on a daily basis but doesnt make me feel uncomfortable, just feels more like im on t3 cycle.

Hi guys

Its day 24 of the Keto diet and i thought id give a quick update.

Weight: Exactly the same, im still in and around the 90.4 mark which was what i was weighing before i started the diet program

Measurements: Pants size has dropped from a 35 to a 33 and even the 33 needs to be worn with a belt at the moment.

Body composition: I am rock hard, veins appearing on my biceps. Feel pumped all the time. People have been commenting on how much weight ive lost, particualry in my face. Can finally see my jaw muscles while i chew again.

Strength: Performance at gym has improved from being really lanklustre at the start of the diet.

Moving ahead: Cheat days are going to be reduced to a 18 hour period where i shall try and eat a high carb/protein meal every hour. Ive introduced t3 this week and will be running clen two days on and two days off

Still consuming 178g of protein and 180g of fats per day. Carb intake is seldom above the 8g mark for the day but im trying to cut this lower as well.

FOUR WEEKS TO MY WEDDING AND COUNTING!!!

Amazing!! And why did you achieve this? Because you spent the time in research!

Definately mate. I read lyle mcdonals ebook from cover to cover and also asked scoured this board for all information pertaining to dieting. so many years wasted by just reading and doing the same diet generic diet plans which were posted across the internet, following it like a lamb to the slaughter without ever understanding the core principles of calorie consumption and thus tailoring a plan which is suited to my own body composition. I just want to give special thanks to all you guys out these especially to you pump, DJ, and Sting for answering all my questions.

hey guys...just thought id pop in to say hi and give an update

Its week 6 of my keto diet and I missed my cheat day this weekend as its the bachelors coming up on Saturday and i thought ill make a weekend of it. Weight is at 86.7 (starting weight was 91.8); BF is down to 12.3 (starting BF was 15.4), waist line is down to size 33 (before the diet was 35/36ish). T3 and clen combo was unbeleiavble but im nearly tapered off the t3 and am now keen to run clen and ECA on a two day on, two day off cycle. Drop my dailory calorie intake down to 2200 due to the weight fluctuations but cut back on fats and protein equally.

Only issue at the moment is the bit of stubborn belly fat i have just around my pelvic bone and the remnants of what were previously love handles. Was wondering if i should use the clen/eca combo or rather do some spot fat reduction with reverzine to eliminate this...

So im 5kg away from my goalweight and with under three weeks to go; id love to get down to 81/2kg and possibly 10 percent body fat.

Hold thumbs for me guys!!!

Its been eight weeks of Keto and the wedding is on Saturday!!!

Last 2 weeks have been manic; got a throat infection which developed into a full-blown cold. Got pretty upset when i was given cough syrup; refused it as it was transported in a glucose based liquid. After throwing a fit, Dr told me best thing that i could do was to take the aldotex c sugar free spray for the throat infection which was appreciated. Never cheated once, but my daily calorie intake dropped to about 1600/day as i couldnt eat as much due me being sick.

Did a weigh in this morning after cardio session. Weighed in at 84.7, original weight was 91.7. This diet has been strange, ive lost weight but filling out my t-shirts more. Arm, chest measurements have all increased and waist has dropped from size 36 to comfortable 33 and less comfortable 32. Extremely happy with the diet. Going on honeymoon until the 28th and taking off from the diet. However, we booked in a hotel with a gym and while ill relax my diet, ill still implore some carb cycling principles to ensure i dont reverse any of the good work.

When i come back, its back to the keto plan. Aiming for that the 8% bf by the end of may before i hit a bulker. started at 16%Bf, last caliper check i did put me on 12.4

Anyways guys,

Probably wont be online again until the 28th. Hope you all have a joyous xmas with family and friends.

Stay safe and live strong

Regards

Congratulations on your achievements. Trully inspiring to see how things have transformed. I have been told by my specialist I need to be in low 90kgs for less strain on heart. Also had to stop weight training and just do cardio. Ill speak to DJ in the new year to advise on a diet for that weight to maintaine at scary low digit bodyfat. Really sucks to see muscles vanish :( oh well, no point crying over spilt milk.
