start counting calories first of all, then work out what it is to maintain your weight, then cut back by 500cals and add in some cardio... there are quite a few discussions running around this board covering this topic....what type of cardio u do is your choice,as long as u can get that heart rate up then its all good.carry on training heavy just remember that, patience is the key and dont stress if u work at it hard u will get the results u looking for...u didnt put the weight on in a week so it wont come off in a week either so rather aim for steady fat loss over a period of time instead of dropping weight too quickly...
try stay away from empty calorie foods, eat clean foods but dont not enjoy your food,if u wanna add spice to your grilled chicken then do so,u not dieting for comp instead u are dieting for health...
use clean food sources
egg whites,
tuna,
chicken
fillet steak
whey protein
cottage cheese(fat free of course)
sweet potatos
potatos
brocolli
brown rice
low gi bread (not too much now)
use fruit and veg to get your carbs in,they are good for u dude
also them main thing to remember is what u put in is what u gonna get out so the more effort u make the more results u will see but remember keep feeding, never starve yourself...even u if u cut back on the calories a bit and keep training with no cardio u should see some result of your efforts...
