Do anyone know what is up with the low stock on the "old" Pronutro. They sell the soy-type mostly the last couple of months in P&P, Checkers, Spar etc.

look at the list of ingredients on the side of the box, there are LOADS of ingredients, soy, sugar all sorts, look at the list of ingredients on the box/packet of mealie meal. whats in it,mealies. thats all..... no additives.also pro nutro was first made for feeding under nourished children,so there are loads of calories in it,yes there are vitamins and minerals etc but how many of us are under nourished children suffering from kwashiorkor????? rather stick to carbs that arent manufactured such as bread, pasta, pronutro, future life, wheat bix, crackers, provitas etc.. i mean you dont hear some one say " hold on i am gonna go out side and dig me up a loaf of bread" do you??

you want carbs sources with the least amount of additives and sugars... Oats,Maizemeal(mealie meal, even maltabela porridge)potato, sweet potato, rice(brown or basmati, quinona, rice cakes things like this... you are guarenteed to be having no additives to these other than salt(in the rice cakes)

I don't like pronutro for 2 reasons. 1 it uses a shit load of milk and that causes me to clog up. Secondly it requires quite a bit of sugar for it to be digested.

I like oats or weetbix. One thing about oats, it is amazing in it's ability to sap up plaque (cholesterol). So if you struggle to get it down just remember how it's saving your life.

If you add 20grams of flavoured whey to your pronutro it is heaven. No need for sugar

Thanks Spike.

I thought Mieliemeel is kind of processed and not that good at all. Some will even say no to white rice....

Nothing like good old coco pops lol probably also not recomender at all! I prefer maltabella above oats, tastes better and i dont need to many spoons of sugar on it. Will try and perhaps add some chock protein shake to it and see if i can replace the sugar with that.

Losing is natures way of telling you, you suck!!!
