Nutri-whey protein crystallized was created by Bear
hi guys.

I don't know if any one knows of this stuff Nutri-whey protein crystallized,
if you go to a dairy you can pick up 25kg bags of this stuff for dirt cheap!
i believe it is a process they do with the milk to extract the protein from the milk so they can add it to cheeses and many other products.
i can get plenty of this stuff but i am worried it will not do any good. dose any one know about this stuff and if it is good to use as a protein supplement shake?

Info on the web is scarce unless it is more commonly know under another name, but from what I can tell it has a low protein content (<50%) and will thus contain more carbs and fat than Whey Protein Concentrate.
Remember if something seems too good to be true, it probably is ;)

LOL, the name "Sweet protein" gave it away, because, guess what's sweet...
What did it taste like? A creamy milkshake?

Interesting, its definitely not the holy grail of cheap protein, but I'd still like to know it's nutritional breakdown?? :)

I saw some whey protein at the ballito fruit and veg place, it was R26 for 500g, bought it and thought i was stealing it, when i got home...lol....but as usual, it was too good to be true....I got in touch with the company that was making the product to find out how come it was so cheap and they explained to me that is cos the protein content is very, very low and concentrate is the way to go!!!

Ja i heard Clover sells 30% whey that they used to feed their cows for the milk content is better or something like that. So you might want to check out what percentage of it is really protein otherwise you might need to take like 3 times as much to get what you'd get out of a concentrate blend you'd get from supplement brands.
But thats just a possibility...
