The4tuneCookie, if somebody told you that? Would you know how to advise them? Or if somebody told you.

Hi, I a 26 year old female, whos diet looks like this

6am, abc
10am, 123

I do cardio 4 times a week and burn on average around X amount of calories.

I normally have a cheat meal on the weekend that would include, bla bla bla.

Then you might actually provide enough information for people to be able to assist.

Sorry if I sounded dumb, but I am new to this kind of thing. All that I actually wanted to know is how do you guys get over the plateau of your diet quicker?

And I don't use any supplements at the moment. Is there any supplements that I can use for a slow thyroid?

There is alot of work needed on ur diet. U are starving urself, that is why ur body doesnt want to let go of the fat.
I would advice DJ help out on this 1.
U can try over the counter fat burners that work great if u havnt used any fat burners before. CLA with green tea or hoodia, UltraCuts from SPS,LIPO6 from Nutrex,UltraXT from USN. They all help for metabolism increase and fat burning. u can have ur pick.
Ur diet is the most important thing tho.

You are starving yourself, that is why your thyroid is so slow. It is going into survival mode...

Cardio looks line, your diet needs a complete reshape.. Contact DJ, he charges a small portion for a custom diet and will also mix up your training too, to help you achieve the results you want.

You will see at the top of the site -> contact us and then send that request to DJ..

ok out of your 5 meals, only 2-3 of them are high protein... u dont have a slow thyroid u have just slowed your metabolism right down to the speed of a snail with the food sources u have been eating... also why are you not doing weight training? the more muscle u have the more fat u burn...women do not have high levels of testosterone in their body so please dont say its cos u dont wanna look bulky....

remember the more muscle u have the more calories u burn on a daily basis... whats gonna use more petrol a 1.3 citi golf or a 2.0l citi golf, same body size the bigger engine one will use more petrol, the size of your motor is the amount of muscle u have...

a proper diet, one worth its weight in salt, would never have cheese in it(yes i know atkins diet and keto diets do but i would never suggest it) sugar, bread, pasta, provita etc.

high protein means 5-6 protein meals a day. protein sources are usually lean and fat free in nature with the exception of fats from eggs and red meat(saturated fats are needed for healthy hormone production)so Whey protein,Eggs,Fish,Chicken, turkey, tuna, cottage cheese, lean beef and biltong constitute protein sources.

so your high protein diet is lacking 1 thing first off :PROTEIN.

breakfast 5egg whites + 1 whole egg and 1/3 of cup of oats should be good..

mid morning : whey protien + nuts

lunch : chicken,veggies + 1/3 table spoon olive oil

mid afternoon : tuna salad and veggies + olive oil

dinner : red meat and veggies

carbs pre work out and post work out...

I am on the keto diet, so I am consuming alot of meat, cheese, biltong etc. I am not starving myself at all, cause on this diet you can eat as much protein as you like.
You are allowed some kinds of fruit so that is why I eat this in the morning.
I am keeping of the 12kg I lost now over a year already, so I think my metabolism is maybe up to crap.

sorry you actually cant eat as much protein as you like The4tuneCookie! that is a falicey on ketogenic diets!your body only needs enough protein to sustain muscle whilst on keto,so 1.5g of protein per pound of body weight, anything over that your body will convert protein into carbohydrates through glucogenisis, now this will knock you out of ketosis!! so you can have to much protein on a ketogenic diet hence the reason u cannot build muscle on a ketogenic diet!! if u are on a ketogenic diet then why are you consuming a fruit for breakfast, fruits contain sugar(fructose) and that will knock you out of ketosis completely...if u are having milk in your tea or coffee, say good bye to ketosis too...a woman should be looking at dieting like this on keto :

breakfast
4egg whites + 2 full eggs

mid morning
whey protein and peanut butter

lunch
chicken/fish with nuts and salad

mid afternoon
whey protein and peanut butter

dinner
red meat and salad or fish and olive oil and salad.

3 omega 3 caps with breakfast lunch and dinner...

your metabolism is not crap,u have just not been dieting correctly...and also your chips or cake cheat meal is also not big enough to spark your metabolism... u need to do some more reading on ketogenic diets, like i said cheese is a shit diet food even on keto!
