Mince + Can of Tamatoe mix (garlic, basil), add some extra garlic, add some shrooms, put a beef cube, yum yum...

Hmm, curry in general is not bad however our bodies struggle a bit with strong spices too often, it actually has a negative effect on diabetes and blood pressure.

I'm a Durban boi, I know what you mean, I have curry night once a week, and I pour maybe 1/10th of a bottle of cayenne pepper in my mince, it gives it a nice bite and very good for the heart..

How do you make your frikkadels? I like them with rice and gravy, however the gravy isnt that good for you so I dont buy packet gravy I make my own, 2 beef cubes, flour and water, and beat it, then microwave it and then beat it again, add more flour if you have over watered it and its to thin... You can also use marmite to give it a more unique taste, just half a spoon.

nah dude, Rice aint part of my plan....so i saty far away...lol

Marmite.... cant eat that

This is wot i do....my gf made me study this so i can stop asking her to make it for me...

Ingredients:
minced beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 cup soft breadcrumbs
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp ground paprika
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
1tsp salt ( but i dont)
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp vegetable oil
(u dont have to use all the spices as mentioned, its alot coz i love spice) :P
Combine all ingredients together and mix well.
Form the meatballs by rolling portions into balls and pressing down slightly to flatten them.
Heat the oil(spray n cook i use) in a non-stick frying pan and brown the meatballs on both sides.
Ready to serve!!!!
Then wot i do is....i take toothpicks and poke them thru the meatballs like a cocktail dish...lol

And i will use a basting brush and rub a lil sauce on it...(pref bbq)

Mince is so versatile you can take just about any recipe and make it BB-friendly just by replacing a few ingredients with BB-friendly ones.

I make a mean lasagna that tastes so authentic but is still pretty good for the BF levels. My kids love it too.

I also often make a huge bowl of mince and bean chili on a Sunday and then just dip into it throughout the rest of the week. So quick to make, and so easy to grab and run with in the mornings.

Yep, you can do so much with mince.
