I am from Durban, and as we all know food prices keep going up, up... and UP!

I would like an idea of what you are guys are paying for fillet chicken breast per KG? and where a bouts you are getting it from?

If you have any other interesting places/stores to get basmati rice, steak, fish, ostrich, nuts, vitamins etc. please just post away. Even if it bad or good.. so we all know not what not to shop for

I just go to the butchery I mentioned because it's close to work and easy to go to on my lunch break.

This is a great idea, unfortunately i do not have any hookups but i am really hoping to get some. Paying ~R9-10 a can of tuna and R40+/kg chicken breast is definately NOT blowing my hair back. I am in Centurion. Will perform "favours" for food....... Just kidding, but i will be unendingly greatfull for any info on food that is affordable in my region!

I don't quite have a place for tuna as yet. I use to buy it in boxes from this sweet shop in Pinetwon.lol!
It was the same stuff that went into Checkers and I was getting it for less than R4 a can. Luckily I still got quite a bit left sticked in my food cupboard!
