Something sweet on my pappies was created by Ondier
Morning guys

What do you put on your oats to sweeten it?

I am not a big fan of honey, although that is probably the healthiest?

What about Dextrose?

Or brown sugar?

I'm not a sweet tooth but struggling without just a bit of sweetness on the bix and oats.

Please remember I'm trying to loose weight :P

this is what i do - put my oats in my shaker, add water, shake and gulp it down. Take 5 seconds and its over and done with. That way u don't really need to enjoy it :P

Also ON has something called stevia powder - natural sugar substitute and no calories

1 x sweetner works for me.... EG: Canderel stick
1g of carbs per stick.

Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...

Put some Goji berries in with the oats.... gives it an awesome taste.
And some crushed almonds...

Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...

Good idea thanks SA

Also heard from the bio-keneticist today that adding cinnamon will make the craving for sweet disappear

Another thing that works great with oats is cooked or braaied lean mince. I add a couple of spoons on the raw oats, pour over boiled water and put it in the mic for 2 - 3 minutes. Veeeeerrry good :-)
