Dj. I have read you saying that a couple of times. Now that im trying to put on some size my current carbs at 40% is 340 grams a day. After a week or so i am getting much stronger but also fatter making my diet phase a waste. So my question is can i drop my carbs to 30% or 255 grams and up my fat from 20% to 30% at 113 grams and still get bigger and stronger without the body fat. My protein at 40% is 340g. Also if i up my calories later then how much is too much fat and where do you cap it. Thanks brothers

That depends on how your diet was set out. If your calories were way higher than what they are suppose to be it doesn't matter if you swap the carbs for more fatsas your calorie surplus is too high. While if the problem was improper carb timing then you can just change that to ensure that all of your carbs are spread across breakfast, pre and post workout and you'll still be bulking but without to much body fat spill over

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

It probably all depends on how your body handles carbs. I've always been more inclined to rather have more carbs and do a bit of cardio than to lower it to knife edge levels.

And Deadgoat, what happened to your karma bru?

Either you are taking in to many carbs or your carbs in the wrong plave...I think u need to drop those carbs, increase your volume in your training and after awhile increase calories, your calories might be too high.

should one count the protein that comes from carbs. Like 100g oats has 14 g protein. So if you dont factor that in you will be eating more protein and overall calories. Whats the best way. To factor it in or not

Those aren't whole proteins most of the time.. Rather leave it out.

cool.

Just want to pose a scenario. Now i have started my cycle but realize i may have pre maturely coz i didnt have an ideal bf. What would happen if i created my calorie deficit to lose bf while on my test cyp eq cycle and cycle this diet with a 3 day low 1 day high calorie for the first 4 weeks of my 12 week cycle. Would the gear assist in keeping me anabolic so i can build muscle while the diet will help me drop fat further. Once i reach the desired bf level then i adjust the diet to bulk for the remainder of the cycle. Could this work as i dont want to stop the cycle now to diet down first or will i be just wasting the gear

Not to be funny, but I have over 12 years experience in diets and contest prep with all my friends that compete and the journey i have taken too, but bottom line is rather let someone do your diet for you that knows more as my diets consisted too much of carbs and seeing both my brothers are diabetics I have similar sugar issues, now with my diet, my blood sugar levels are 4,5 which is PERFECT... DJ has taken me from 103 to 110,6kgs in a few weeks. He has actually cut my calories down so I have visible abs again yet growing daily... On 200mg Primo, 350mg EQ and 250mg test.. My body is harder and dryer each and every day, and when I do a cheat meal 1 day afterwards my body is even harder, slightly more 'flat' the day after the calorie up cheat meal, but it's working crazy good... The few pennies his diet costs which shouldn't have a price as its the biggest aspect for growth... Even Jay has someone working with him with his diet and he is Mr O... I much prefer him doing my diet too as this way I don't change things to suit my craving but rather stuck to a healthy diet, sometimes I might mix a meat with something else, but thats about it.

i hear you guys. Dj when i started bffm the deficit was helping me drop bf nicely. So hastily i started my cycle and bumped up the calories to bulk. That was the mistake. If i dont know what my bf is can you still structure a diet. My goal is to be huge with minimal bf. And money isnt an issue to buy whatever food or supps it takes. If i decide to go with your diet whats the quickest you can put something together

ice-rip, honestly bro, get your BF checked first, then get him to structure around it, or its the same as saying you take in 4000 calories a day but you don't weigh your food.

drop me a mail with your current diet, training, cardio photo's front back and side relaxed and get a body fat % done and i will have your diet to u in an hour or two after that...the principles are all on the forum,i have never hidden my principles as with out telling people they wont learn for themselves, its just i have created a semi decent combinations of food where most guys actually eat and feel alot fuller and end up dropping weight,i got an email from someone who has been on my diet for 2 weeks and has dropped for 88.5kgs where he has been for the last 2 months, down to 86.5kgs with only diet and doing 20mins cardio a day post work out..and yet he is eating more than he ever has..just in the right balance :)

I'm glad I've been reading this and other threads like this, as I have just been eating my 6 meals a day and clean meals at that, and thought I would work out how many calories it came to and I'm probably about 1000 calories shy of where I need to be just for maintenance, let alone gaining any mass.

Carbs - 220g
Protein - 271g (incl BCAA & Glutamine)
Fat - 76g

I think I need to increase my fat content and probably my carb intake as well.
