Please don't be alarmed about the topic title! I'm not here to stir up trouble, I would just like to have everybody's opinion on it? I'm in no way advocating it or doing it myself. I just thought it would be fun to discuss it? It's quite a few long articles, but please read it and give your opinion?

I think it could work like he said in moderation, but otherwise, eating a diet full of junk is going to be bad for your health.

Never feel sorry for yourself... Even if you're training hard, he might be training twice as hard. You just gotta keep coming back stronger.

Haven't read all the articles but there is a lot of successful experimentation being done by a guy called Ken "Skip" Hill - google him and you will find a lot of his research on dirty eating for gaining plenty of lean mass without any of the normal associated fat gain.

Dc you are talking about skip loading, its a refeed not so much a dirty eating schedule,he goes for large carb refeeds low in protein, low in fat and high in sugary carbs, its used in the prepping for shows and its a practice for the carbing up phase the last day before a show, its a damn technical process and it has been discussed before...also the amount of low fat high gi carb goodies in sa minimal to say the least, you can find a lot more in the USA that supports this type of refeed,I have done it on keto and it works well(well my version) you need to know your body to know how many carbs you can handle, and you start low...and work your way up to a couple of meals a day to drive leptin lebels up after low calorie days during the week...it works but u need to be very strict on the low protein, low fat,low fiber, high gi carbs, hence the reason I like using jelly babies when doing refeeds...

Hey DJ

I also did it while both on a TKD and CKD diets - worked very well for me, agreed though that the options available here in SA compared to the US is not great, but that seems to be the case with most things related to health and fitness in SA.

I will have to find his latest experiment I was reading as that was not based on the traditional skip loading and keto based nutrition.
