Dischem or Clicks should sell it.

the waxing and Veet is a bunch of crap..

I just buy those fancy bic razors.. like 70 bucks with the swivvel heads..

they seem to last the longest.

No electric razors seem to work. spend 1700 on a fancy Braun .

Didnt cut jack ..

Heard about the Phillips body Groomer.. wonder if it would work for me

Why is waxing crap? because of the pain?
Any form of shaving/veet will thicken the hair and the next day you will have stubbles again.
Just wax and get it over with, its quick, painful for a couple of seconds and there you go, wax again in a month or 2 again as hair takes around 2-8weeks to grow back.
I'm not talking about the cheap wax trips you buy from your Dischem or Verimark that you just apply and pull off. Proper pot wax that you heat up with waxing strips or the wax in the bottle with the roller for the legs. Bleeding only happens in the beginning when the hair follicles is still strong but after a few times it stops. Also totally forget about waxing if your on Roaccutane. After waxing apply some after wax cream and the next day apply some Folisan if you get bumps, it will dry the skin nicely and clean the follicles.

My wife is in the beauty industry and luckily she knows what she's doing like waxing it in the right direction and so on and for free of course :)

I really don't have time to stand for hours in the shower shaving with a razor, I've done it with my gillette fusion but had to go over and over until it was smooth, given my hair was pretty thick. Also went through a blade that cost over R150 for a pack.
Waxing also is kak sore and too long as well...I'm sure does give the best result. Not worth the pain IMO.
With this new Veet it's rub on, wait 5 min, rub off in shower, and all clean and dandy. Skin almost felt moisturized after.

Hehe, I don't think so Ondier, but Phillips do sell a nose trimmer, bought one a couple of months ago and it works well, best is when the hair is out, feels like your breathing 100 times better.

Agreed!! Can't stand in the shower till the water starts getting cold

Tried the in shower veet but definitly no good for me anyways. Left me a bit patchy and had to shave afterwards anyway. Oh well gave it a shot but clearly doesn't work for me or should I say as well as it should. Going to try the wax thing but to be honest I'm scared

Maybe should just fork out the bucks for the Phillips??

But well will the Philips work on thick hair. Not sure if you have to go over the area a couple times if the hair is thick. Maybe Spike or someone else who uses it needs to clarify this

the phillips have a clipper and a shaver option, works well on thick or thin hair. takes some time to shave but works well!

It has a clipper on both end of the head which will cut the hair down to a length where the head will pick it up and cut it real short. Works really well. If you press too hard you will get razor burn - just be carefull cause that hurts like hell! Especially on the inside-leg/upper hammy and sit area. Be warned.

Okay feedback, this Phillips job is really nice. If you like to have all areas shaven in a short time then this is what you want.

I got semi carried away and I nearly shave off all body hair and its pretty smooth.

You do get a closer shave with a razor but this way is like a couple of minutes and you're sorted.

Hey guys,I have a chest and back hair prolem, and I have also tried about everything... My first attempt was at waxing... Needless to say that was most likely the worst idea i ever had. The first strip they pulled raised body from that bed up-to the cealing. Handsdown the best workout i haf that afternnoon ever... :cheer:

Since then I have attempted waxing again one or 5 times more, and every time its the same. you end up in survere pain, sometimes bleeding and supper sticky.
Also, I have used the epil-stop-and-spray, Veet and various other creams. They tend to work for a week to 2 max. Its better than shaving( only lasts like 3 days). Sometimes these creams just smell super bad. before, during, after and later!!

Well its well worth it to try, evertime you feel so sily smooth afterwards, really makes all the difference.
Does the philips also give you that silky feel or does it leaving a rougher texture behind??

The body groomer doesnt give you as smooth a shave, but the benefit is its easy and quick and you can do it in or out the shower. It works with thick hair, but if its really thick then just use the trimmer attachment... also go a little slower. I have managed to shave my face with it before, just going nice and slow, no problem

Um, but im scared of needles...
