Question was created by Adder
This was asked in one topic with doctari in response, but did not answer it. And it has been on my mind for quite awhile now.

DJ wrote: ok doc just another question on my mind,on non training days what do i do about the calories that i usually get from my pre and post work out shakes? can i substitute them for complex carbs instead of simple carbs and combine them just to have an extra meal in the day or do i just forget about them and carry on with normal meals?

What i want to know for a bulking diet, what do i do on non workout days. How do i go about my calorie intake; because my pre and post meals (protein shake, post workout meal, vitargo) is not accounted for on non workout days and totally fucks up my daily caloric intake that i need to maintain in order to bulk.

What to do!?

Just add another full meal to compensate. But because yoe wont be teaing that day you can adjust your carbs downwards.

Thanks DJ.

One more question.

The theory behind your glycogen stores being depleted upon waking up in the morning the day after a workout, in which you need to eat medium / high GI carb in the morning.

Is this true? Could i eat Bananas and some protein as breakfast 1, then breakfast 2 would be protein and low gi (Oats) ?

A bit confused as to what the actual theory behind this is, and if it is even true.
