Howzit gents

I don't really have a major issue with my diet but I if any of you want to throw your 2c at it then great. I haven't started any cycle yet but I am gaining at the moment and am tweaking the diet as I go along. One thing I've noticed is that I seem to gain fat very quickly and I've gone down the road of big bulking before and while I did get very strong very fast, I also got very fat very fast (25% BF). I lost a lot of that weight about a year ago and I don't want to get to that point again. That was a lot of time cutting that I could have been gaining.

I'm currently 103kgs at about 16% BF.

My days usually look like this:

Meal 1: 150g Future Life
Meal 2: 75g Supplements SA Super Whey
Meal 3: 200g chicken fillet, 200g cooked brown rice
GYM
Meal 4: 50g Vitargo, 25g Supplements SA Super Whey
Meal 5: 250 chicken/steak, 75g mixed veggies
Meal 6: 75g Supplements SA Super Whey.

I don't have any oats in there because it seems to sit at the top of my throat all day and I get bloated.
I replace meal 2 and 6 with a shake because I get stomach issues whenever I eat 6 solid meals in a day and also feel slugish.
I use Supplements SA Super Whey because its the only brand that doesn't give me gas and bloat.

hey bro, just a few questions. 1. what are your stats? 2. are you Bulking or cutting?

first off, I'd get another whey. I know you said it's the only brand that doesn't give you gas, but it contains fructose.

I'd have a protein source with breakfast too. egg whites and also change the FutureLife for some maize meal

Agree with pump, do not know how you got to that size. You have to get some more solid foods in, too much shake. Meal one should have more protein (eggs). Meal 2 should have protein and fats (chicken/steak/tuna) + nuts. Meal 3 is fine depending on how long after that meal you train, you can add in 35g of raisins before workout. Meal 4 bump up your whey to at least 50g with the vitargo. Meal 5 you can add a bit of complex carbs. Meal 6 you should lower the whey and add some peanutbutter.

The 150g each morning has 88g carbs and 31g of protein.

for some one who "gets fat" easily there is alot of unwanted carbs in your diet in the form of processed foods such as future life and through the supplement sa whey as they use fructose to sweeten it (well done heretic47 for picking that up) also your overall calories are too low, just remember that the protein content from future life is soy,not the greatest of protein sources. also maybe you are having to much whey in 1 sitting and that is why you get bloated and gassy.

at about 85kgs lean mass you would need about 280g of protein through the day(like vond said) split that up into 6-7 meals during the day. so about 40-45g of protein per meal depending on how many meals you have. so far you are having 3 whey meals a day, cut that down to 2,1 post work out, 1 before bed. change your protein sources up through the day, so if u are having 2 whey meals a day u need to have 4-5 solid forms of protein a day. from chicken, steak, lean beef mince, eggs, egg whites, fish, tuna even biltong.

carbs for now dont over do them but have 3 carbs meals a day, morning, pre work out and post work out (split this up to 50% fast acting carbs such as vitargo followed by 50% solid carbs and hour after that) that is your carb intake for the day other than veggies.

then the other 4 meals of the day have protein and fats.

Thanks for the input.

As soon as this whey has finished I'll look around for a replacement.
