That is an increase of about 500cal, try it if you gain fat just reduce slightly, but it sounds about right to me.

So in weight gain would you be able to tell how much I could gain or is it different from person to person?

AS ur weight increases, ur lbm increases ans so ur maintance cals increase. So to keep bulking you need to increase cals to stay above maintance level.

Am I right in assuming its a lean bulk? One wouldn't want to increase cals if their weight is increasing but mainly due to BF% increase.. Right?

My approach is to get my BF% stable at say 12% and then increase cals evenly over my prot, carbs and fat, check my BF% again after two weeks like this and adjust accordingly.. DJ am I over thinking the dieting part?
