'Any legal pundits here?

Hey, I have kinda a sensitive problem, i was just wondering if there are any guys here who know a thing or 2 about the law when it comes to a dad and his kids..and a mother threating to keep the kid out of his life!

I had this problem a few years back, luckily I am a member of legal wise (they have come in handy a few time).
I got one of their lawyers to draw up a letter stating that I have legal rights to see my kids and that legal action will be take if these rights are violated.

To be honest this should be the last resort, but then again it should be the first, once you have spoken to a lawyer about the issue it is recorded that there was a problem, and it wasn't brought on by you. This can help your case if things don't go well.

My ex saw that I was not going to let her manipulate me like this and I took a stand, but I had to do it in a way that wouldn't make her try to get revenge or piss her off even more.
I will say that when dealing with kids and their mother it is not easy as women are very spiteful.
My best advise is to lodge the complaint as soon as possible but don't threaten her or to take the kids away, you will not get anywhere by doing that.

No matter which way you look at it - the courts are in favour of the mother. They can get away with almost everything. If she decides that you shouldn't see the kids, the court will take her side, keep the kids from you until you can prove her wrong. Freakin insane.
Then there is the maintanance issues.....

Anyway, my problem is almost 22 and not too much of a problem anymore:) .

Thanks guys! My problem is quite complicated! The problem is also the fact that her family are pushing really hard to mess me up real bad! And on more then one occassion i was threatened that they have plenty money to play with and would easily "clean me out it court" Now i am currently living with my kid and her mum, trying to make things work, even been to shrinks for marridge councilling but she refused to go after a few sessions citing the shrink is being bias and favoring me! Give her option of seeing a diff one, she refused, now i gotta live wit her threats everyday of takin my daughter away from me! This is fucken why i got addicted to valium in the 1st place! God what i wouldnt do to pop a few right now! Oh, btw, she uses the fact that i cos i used steroids i am instable and therefore she would win in court!

Well my thoughts would be to stop all the gear, live a clean life and get the kids to love you even more than is possible.

My kids come see me when they want to as I told them its their decision, and they come over five to six times a month. I was never married to their mother, and my first daughter was when I was 20 years old, way too young, but have grown up a lot since then.

I really think you should go see a lawyer and get the threats she has made lodged with them, it can only help in the long run.

i know exactly what you going through i am going through the same my x mother in law tries to make my life hell was so angry once that i told her that ill kill her ......she went and got a protection order so if we get in a fight again she will have me arrested ...............its not easy i know but by all means try and keep your cool,there is no way of winning that i promise you.For your kids sake just say yes boss and no boss and the end they are whats important and ill do anything to see them even it means i became a whimp

Thanks alot guys! I actually did go and see a lawyer some time back before i married my daughters mum(BTW my daughter is only 18months old) Didnt really help to much, was told mother will get her way 99.9% of the time!

I have not been on juice a few months now! Its not easy being a whimp dreamer, there is only so much a human being can take, day in and day out its the same story! And just the immorality and the hypocritical nature of these ppl make me so sick to the core! It feels like i am goin to snap and pull a trigger and kill someone or myself sometimes. But i have been thru the lawyer route, thru the child welfare route, thru the shrink route, It all boils down to the mother havin her way, right or wrong, it doesnt matter!

If you're the run-of-the-mill BB then your lifestyle will most probably be quite pure. If thats the case and this isn't your doing, then i would say stuff-it! carry on with your life and be happy.
Fight for your rights on top of that and you'll most probably get it.
There's nothing wrong morally with taking steroids to better yourself. 90% of these idol athletes take AAS anyway.
I had too many unhappy years trying to keep with ex's unrealistic demands. Cannot get them back.
Given the choice again?..... STUFF IT!
