I'm assuming you mean CBD and not actual cannabis oil?
I've used CBD for quite sometime. I usually used a dose of 5mg daily just due to the expense of CBD. It's helped a lot with sleep and just feeling better overall. Recently I've started taking a tablet of 10mg daily (By Wild Leaf Infusions) and its helped with recovery and significantly reduced the recurrent pain I have in my knees. It's decently priced which helps also.

Personally, I won't use anything with CBD alone. I would encourage you to try a mix of CBD and THC if you are going to give it a shot. In any case, I have come to the conclusion the THC is the more beneficial. Yes, this goes against all the CBD hype and ambassadors getting 10% off every sale they bring :)

I first used cbd products when i went to Colorado in 2016, topical gels and i had altitude sickness and was given a suppository to use. That was the real deal, 10mg suppository cleared the headaches away in like 30mins.

since I came back I have used oils and to be honest, they didn't work until 50mg daily due to the low bioavailability. oils and capsules are 18% bioavailable. 40mg of CBD oil was great for my anxiety, and I no longer take 2mg of rivatrol daily cos of it, so there is a major benefit from it.

I can budge in on some experience here. With both making and taking CBD oils and pills.

First i received CBD as a child to help with my anxiety... I have Panic Disorder and when I was younger I had severe panic attacks. (Textbook, fat pig from Chicken Little type of panic attacks.)
- My mom (When I was about 13) started giving me CBD and my extreme anxiety attacks reduced a lot. and i mean a lot ...
(I think it had some but very little THC in cause my mom got it from a friend.)
- But it didnt take my anxiety away completely. It helped ease with the side effects of anxiety being - sleeping problems, struggling to think with clarity etc.

I stopped taking it about 3 years ago, cause I couldnt find sources were the CBD ACTUALLY felt like it was working...

So i tried to start making it and honestly its too blerrie difficult. Anyone who has tried to make CBD will know.

Recently I've started taking a tablet of 10mg daily (By Wild Leaf Infusions) and its helped with recovery and significantly reduced the recurrent pain I have in my knees. It's decently priced which helps also.

When payday comes in again I'm going to try Wild Leaf infusions as the science explain makes sense.

I would encourage you to try a mix of CBD and THC if you are going to give it a shot. In any case, I have come to the conclusion the THC is the more beneficial.

- I smoke alot of zol. And i can say with complete honesty smoking a J has done nothing drastic for pain or inflammation so far for me. (I think one could say its better for bodybuilding than alcohol.) But the pro's would have to debate this

For now take CBD and take a daily entry about mood and see for yourself. Only you can decide whether it will benefit u or not.

At the moment I am using a mixture, 30% CBD, 70% THC. First time.

So lets see. If it works, I will let you know.

I battle with inflammation in my body. I have not had my uric acid tested, but I do use Alkaline Powder, and Apple Cyder Vinegar.

I have tried the health shop variety of CBD, but with no success. And it is really expensive.

Cool good luck, I wouldn't use it everyday however. Could you elaborate on your inflammation issues?
Cannabinoids are effective however I would really dial in diet and have a look at training. (what's your diet/supplementation like and what kind of training do you follow?)

sadly, when it comes to the oil, you need to use a lot of it, 60mg of oil daily is a good spot, but it comes down to the low bioavailability. if admin allows, i can chat about a product and the science behind it.

I've tried that Rick Simpson oil for sleep issues, need a rice grain of it, but even then the hang over is hectic the next day. I still have 4 syringes full as I won't use it anymore, I don't think the THC route for me is a good idea at all, I also felt it caused brain fog.

Man, don't smoke THC or use THC daily, its like being drunk everyday... just with more psychological sides but no physical side effects.

People should stick to recreational THC usage,
CBD has more than enough science backing up the benefits op recovery and sleep aid etc etc.

If you consume THC daily be prepared to become James Franco in pineapple express...

Sjoe, how do I sum this up ? Hmmmmm. I will call it Fibromialgy type pain.

Sorry, difficult to sum up the last 10 years of my health. In short, I call it CFS / Fibromialgia.

I don't have contact with my dad's side of the family, so I also only now found out, that my grandmother had arthiritis, and that my dad and his brother have it too, and my younger sister has it.

So could this be arthiritus that was misdiagnosed as Fibro. Oh, for the record, my mom has Fibro.

SO ..... could it be both ? Fibro AND arthiritus.

My symptoms. I'm getting more and more stiff, all over - my feet, ankles, knees, hips, back, arms, shoulders. See, it is hard to describe, because it sits everywhere.

That is why I at least take A Vogel Alkaline, Apple Cyder Vinegar, and Curcumin. I try everything that is anti-inflammatory.

My neck gets so stiff, that I sometimes shouldn't drive, because I can't turn my head left and right.

I battle to walk, so I always have crutches in the car, just in case. Most days I will walk unassisted. And then I have that 1 day where my hip just says: Nope, sorry, get those crutches, I ain't walking today.

Sorry. About my diet -

I stay away from night shade foods.
I don't eat acidic food.
I don't eat gluten and don't drink milk.
I don't touch alcohol.

I will have to sit and take more time, to write down what I do or don't eat. The list is long.

My staple diet is meat and starch (brown rice, mieliepap or potatoes ..... though I am very careful with potatoes, as it is a night shade food.

But meat and starch, are the 2 foods that definitely don't give me IBS or a bleeding gut.

My "food" supplements are - Immunadue, Procydin, Zink Forte (strong), Selenium, Curcumin, Glutamine powder, Glutathione, vit D (10 000 iU, 2 x per week), 3000 on the days in between.

Well, actually I did :( .... and so we learn

I took it for 3 or 4 days, and then stopped, cause it was making me sick.

The biggest side effect for me ..... in my case it almost works like an aneasthetic. I take it before bed, but once I lie down, I can't get up. I can't move. It paralyses me. It was quite scary.

So no, this one was not the one for me. (sobbing)

Sorry you have to go through that.

I would think cannabinoids can be very useful to you.
And I think it is good you are not taking chronic NSAIDs - I hate that shit.

I would consider carb intake to limit inflammation. Adding in some high quality sardines/salmon omega-3 oils. Do you take a good multi (maybe add some vitamin A D E and selenium)

Have you been prescribed Pregbalin?
Has your endo tried any other androgen therapy?

Sorry, I forgot to mention Omega. I take Solal's Omega 3 fish oil.

I have not heard of Pregbalin, I will have to Google that.

No, my Endo has not tried the Androgen therapy yet. And I've been postponing that part (rest of treatment), because the service at this hospital is really going from bad to worse.

She wants to book me in for more tests, but I don't want to sleep another night in that hospital. It is so sad, how bad our hospitals have become.

Unfortunately no one can give you medical advice other than your docs. Best hope is to find one you trust working with.

And on a side note.... Solal?   I highly recommend finding a better brand. Fuck those guys.

"Best hope is to find one you trust working with."

My biggest battle. That is why I am doing things my way this year.

Solal is bad ? I thought Solal and Solgar were 2 of the better brands.

Solgar are a solid brand.

Suddenly I am depressed. Don't worry, it is just me.

I really think, that 90% of the stuff in our pharmacies (sport & health section), are just "quacks". People jumping on the band wagon to make money.

An example is Moringa. When it was first launched, it was suddenly the miracle cure. Then other people started to copy them.

This is now happening to most of the stuff we buy. My probiotics are prescribed to me by a Functional doctor. The other day I walked into the pharmacy to buy a new bottle, but there was a new lady there. And guess what - she was not objective, she was a sales rep. So she tried to tell me how her brand is better than mine. So I lost my patience a bit there (my fault, I do apologise), and I started asking her what functional medicine is. She couldn't tell me.

It was a bit nasty perhaps, but I hate when sales reps force their stuff on me.

So, for certain products, at least I have a few good references. But mainly, 90% of it all, we just try and cope and educate ourselves.

I've just learnt, over the years, that FDA approved is better than no approval at all.

And I also learnt to stay away from the, may I call them, "Clicks cheapies ?". By that I mean, the cheapest vitamins you can find on the shelve. If you want quality, you will have to pay for quality.

No worries I agree with most of what you said.
With regards to vitamins, I also avoid generics etc. I quite like Vital and vitaforce of the local companies, and amipro and metagenics for basics have been good.

And yes I would safely put Solal as a massive QUACK.

Probiotics are largely bullshit here and I have stopped wasting money on them.

Hope you have a better weekend B)
