Currently the Planetfitness I go to has 1 smith machine and two squat racks. Normally they arent too busy, but murphy comes in and changes that when I have training to do in them
Todays example,
Need to do squats and leg extensions (superset, but not quite), So I slow my routine down hoping the squat rack will open up, but nope we have some insta famous peeps and two chatterboxes using them,
I ask how many sets they still have and get the usual, im almost done answer, So I move on and do my next excersice, and the next, and the next, eventually after about 45minutes they fart out of the racks and go chat elsewhere.. But sadly my workout is almost done and I half arse the squats.
Any recommendations for fixing this? I have even resorted to sitting near the machine and waiting (Only when its chatty folks), hoping this speeds them up but sadly it doesnt. This also screws around with the workout as your heart rate goes down etc...
