I've been pinning TRT for about 3 years now, but this is a first for me.
While I was pulling the test in I noticed some leaking out of the rubber stopper where the needle was. I did draw an equal amount of air but maybe I was wiggling too 't know.

1) I should definitely toss that vial now, right?

2) Is this perhaps an issue with using an 18g? They are big.

Well you may aswell use a lead pipe by using an 18g needle. Those things are like hose pipes.

I would switch to a 23g needle or even 25.

No you wouldn't have to Toss the vial as long as isn't still leaking out. You can heat the vial just incase to kill off bacteria. Make a water bath on a pot where you slowly heat the water to a gentle simmer whilst the vial is in the water. Put a needle in the vial to allow the air to escape and stop the vial popping. The water only needs to cover half the bottle. The heat would kill off any bacteria if it got into the vial. But if the rubber stopper is compromised you gonna have to toss the vial.m

Yeah, used to read that 18s were the way to go but the more I look at them the more I 't these those things people used to joust with? I'll give 25s a go next time.

Afterwards I did wipe the top and then turn it upside down and nothing managed to drip out, so I think the rubber stopper is fine?

I'll give that heat trick a go.

Thanks.

then you good to go, just give your vial a water bath just to be safe, and you good.

Inspect the oil too, if there is a piece of rubber stopper inside the oil, I would throw it out and replace it.
