Hi all, I'm observing a strange diet related thing.
I'm 52, weigh between 94 and 96 Kg's and around 11-12% body fat at present. Been training for many years.
I'm currently leaning down (not a full cut) for the Summer and because I was retaining a lot of water. I am on TRT full time for the last 5 years or so and do between 160 and 200 mg a week of Cypionate. I don't like to do higher as I find there is a point of diminishing returns and the sides outweigh the positives.
I do cycle every three months or so. I am currently on SuperCutMix 1ml Mon/Wed/Friday. So 100 TestProp, 100 Mast and 100 Tren. Ace
I know we all react differently to different compounds, but this is my second time cycling Tren Ace (granted not a massive dose) and my body loves it. No sides other than slight fatigue, no aggression, no sleep issue etc.
Anyway I digress. The course has been going well, but for the first time in a very long time I have been eating super clean. Meal prep, no cheating, training 5-6 time a week and a bit of cardio once or twice a week too. Last time I ran just 200 mg Test cyp with 3 x 100 mg Tren Ace I got lean pretty quickly and I wasn't nearly as good with my diet. Monday to Friday I would eat clean, but Sat/Sun I allowed myself to eat pretty much anything and the fat just seemed to melt away. I got down to around 10%.
This cycle with the SuperCutMix and the very strict diet I was not getting nearly as good results UNTIL (this is where I'd appreciate an explanation) I added 1 cheat day a week end and suddenly I'm shredding fat again like last time. I would have thought strict diet, no bread etc I should have been getting better results. Now that I've added the odd piece of toast here and there on the cheat day, Wheatbix with a bit of sugar and even some ice cream I'm getting awesome results??????
What gives?
