Hi all.

Bit of a long post around BP really and then also who can recommend a medical practitioner in Centurion that understands TRT and bloodwork and can prescribe BP meds also understanding the training and diet regime, etc.

Long story short - used to visit a Dr in the West Rand.  He moved away.

Recently had my bloodwork done by my GP and all normal in terms of HDL and LDL and other metrics that matter.  Lifestyle changes I have made since 2017 when I moved to TRT dose of c200mg per week of Test Cyp.  Lost >30kgs, strict diet but I am never hungry, basically LCHF with IF.  Cals never higher than 3000 per day, many days linger around 2500 to 2750 bearing in mind I sit behind a desk.  training 6 days per week - 40 mins weights, 10 to 15 mins HIIT cardio.

My GP has picked up on high systolic usually around 130ish with diastolic usually below 85, most times 75 to 85.  So after weeks of research my side I agreed to a prescription of Vymada.  I've been trying to convince her to move me to Telmisartan after having read numerous very positive reports about this for people with high BP in general and also those who carry more muscle and train like we do.  Not sure she understands however.  Not that the Vymada has not worked, BP has normalsed closer to 125/120 over 75/80.  Would just like to, based on my own research, move to something which gets a much better report in general.

Anyone know of specific Doctors who are familiar with what we do and our challenges.
