Filter needles? was created by L30N
I'd say I'm about 5 years into TRT and want to give HCG a crack, but I see that most HCG products come with glass ampoules for the bacteriostatic water.

As I understand it, one needs a filter needle to draw that up with after breaking the top off?

Where do I find filter needles? They don't seem to be available at the pharmacies like the regular ones.

No, you don't need syringe filters. In fact the filter will waste a large volume of your HCG and the mechanical stress of being forced through a filter will probably destroy the HCG.

I mean for drawing up the water from the ampoule before adding it to the HCG vial, to prevent any micro glass fragments from getting in there. Not for drawing up the mixed HCG.

All ampoules I've opened broke cleanly. I think you are looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Of course the internet will tell you otherwise, but in my experience it's a non-issue.

Ok thanks. Ye, I used to overthink the test, now I'm overthinking this.

So on the topic of HCG, this particular batch of UPA HCG I bought about 6 months ago.

Unmixed and refrigerated.

I know that HCG is quite fragile and doesn't last very long once mixed, but is unmixed for 6 months too long?
