Use Bio Oil regularly for stretchmarks and scars. Available at chemist. It is a very good product.

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

Bio oil doesn't really remove them but it reduces their apperance, its good for preventing them too.

As for the hair issue, waxing is probably ur best option as it removes the root hair and so hair will only grow back approximately six weeks later. Its gonna hurt like a B**** but you'll get over it

The only other thing is those Veet products but the hair grows back faster than it does when waxing, it basically burns the hair off but it doesnt remove the roots of the hair

what bugs me about waxing is that i get tons of ingrown pimples on my chest. I dont really mind the pain but those ingrowns become such a fokin mission. My chick tells me showering and using a rough sponge helps but it didnt help me..

A mate of mine bought a shaver from Dischem that is designed for the whole body. He says it takes the hair off very easily. I am thinking of getting one. They cost around 400 bucks I think.

I do IPL

Its better than lazer removal and is 99% perm, you need to go once a year for maintenance... I had chest and shoulders done... I am going to start with my legs next month, around 10 sessions for it to be perm gone...

Nice thing is the place I go to if you refer somebody you get a free session. So refer 10 people and your treatment is free.. point to note, do not max during this as you will have to start treatment over, you can use veet + shave, as you destroying the follicle and if you wax you pull that follicle out and start again..

I chose IPL over lazer for 2 reasons, its not as dangerous and is not saw like lazer. its the new age treatment. if you need further information let me know, maybe you can quote i sent you so i get some free sessionss :D

Here is a site that explains IPL

www.dermanetwork.org/information/foto_facial_ipl.asp

The main difference between IPL and normal Lazer is the IPL uses a braoder light where Lazer is narrow. It all depends on the body part you want to do which will determine how long each session takes aswell as how many treatments you require... Also remeber we using gear here, so our hormones are out of sync so we do require more sessions than that of average person.

Your intruduction session they explain risks, etc, they will do a questionare that will ask how you react to things like sunburn and pigmentation and do you get allot of ingrown hairs, etc... Once this is done and you accept treatment you can buy package deals or session at a time, I would advise safe for a package as its allot cheaper! Once you start the treatment they start off very low and ask you if its to hot, etc... there is two feelings you feel a small little pinch and a bit of heat, like a puff of heat... you are not required to be a big man and pretend its not saw or you will damage yourself... you tell them ok thats a bit saw they turn it down and they document what works best for you so each session you go for you ready to rock and roll... you can buy an aloe cream when you done to help, my skin doesn't require it. after around the 3rd session you start to see patches that is missing hair, even after the first session it takes longer than normal to grow back.

Normally you go every 3/4 weeks and chest/shoulders/top of back takes around 50 minutees.. I have not started legs yet so not sure how long that takes..

IPL does not work the same way as lazer so you cant use it for tattoo removal as you would lazer... but hey we only worried about hair removal :D I had a complex with my hair and now its gone and i'm so happy I went this route...

If its ok to advertise names I can put the name on here + number.

Any other questions let me know...

hmmmmmm...

Well it all depends on what you looking to do... My chest + shoulders + top back cost around 8k for 10 sessions... You need to speak nicely to the lady doing it, as normally shoulders + back is another expense she did it all for the same price, think she likes bodybuilders, lol!

its not the cheapest option, but I just wanted a fresh start... I dont like hair and had to have it removed. but once its gone its gone :) AS I said different body parts require different ammount of sessions, depends on thickness of hair etc..

But as you do a few sessions it does thin out as hair grows I believe in 20% phases, so this piece then that etec etc.. it doesn't grow at once.. so once you have a few sessions it start to thin out, so if thats all you looking for buy a package for 5 and see how you are after that..

hrm, will get the number tomorrow but its in sandton on rivonia road. if you actually drive on the road they have signs up with their number, its next to the harly davidson bike shop.

hmm, with regards to stretch marks, not sure if anything can remove them (product wise)... if they small they are able to be removed, they use some type of hook and pull it out... but big ones like I have and probabbly yours too, surgical removval is the only answer.. also remeber any of these things you put on your skin, its going to take months before u notice any true change to it... vit e oil, etc etc... its a known fact that over long peroids of time they do fade and lighten.

if you go the lazer route (which is expensive) you will require around around 5 sessions but the thing is it will not remove it only lighten them.

maybe even the route of a chemical peal? that removes a number of layers of skin and maybe long term use of this it will fade away? also look at alpha hydroxyl acids that you can get in specific type of creams, also creams with high dose of vit a can be beneficial... i'm going to do some exploring and testing into this very soon and will post my results..

also remeber if you do masage the area you going to allow improved circulation and and with this toxins are removed... so I recon a good combonation of many things could really work...

Bio oil really makes it lighter but doesn't remove it. I have some really bad stretch marks on my the insides of my arms, arm pits and chest. I really hate Verimark products but they are now advertising something called Epil Stop and Spray so I'll try that next and let you guys know.

Even if u are a hairy bastard it clearly doesn't work cos i distinctly remember a hairy guy that looked like a monkey being used as an example in the commercial. The towel was pitch black from all the hair that came off his back so whether ur hairy or not it should've worked according to them and clearly with ur experience the product must be a load of shit,
