Big okes that toss their weights after doing a proper set and then walk around for 20 seconds looking like they want to eat everyone in the gym (you know who you are)
Tiny and big okes who dont put away their weights, we have plenty of them at our gym.
VA staff that walk around, see how some lytie or newbie has poor form, but they dont help, what the hell are they there for?
And then all the lyties these days that are on gear - its actually sad.

He probably was. Remember, you guys are blessed with a wealth of information and AAS availability. Not so in the "old" days. PCT wasnt known back then and that often, if not always, made okes fat.
Lets see what you look like approaching 50. You have MANY resources available but lets see.....

2. Wearing tracksuit pants and gloves. Now, there's nothing wrong with wearing tracksuit pants, and to be honest, wearing gloves is your choice. However, I find the reason most people wear tracksuit pants to be "I'm shy about what my legs look like, they're not that big" which only gets worse as they then proceed to never train legs. My solution to them is to wear shorts, the fact that you feel "exposed" with your tiny legs showing should only serve as motivation to train your legs until they're of sufficient size! And the gloves...don't get me started. Now before anyone gets offended, I used to be the tracksuit pants and gloves kinda guy, so I was guilty of this offence myself.
3. Spending ages at a piece of equipment, chatting away while I'm waiting for you to finish up. I remember this one case especially, back when I used to live in Pretoria, I was still in high school, there was always this one guy, probably aged 40, relatively big, but constantly working out with his lifting belt, no matter what he did. Now he would always stand at the machines and chat away with his buddies about whatever for ages before doing a set. Eventually I would walk up to him, trying my best to be respectful (being only in matric back then, I tried my best not to seem like an arrogant laaitie) and asked him in a friendly manner "Ekskuus tog, hoeveel stelle het jy oor?" only to get the reply of "Wag jou beurt boetman, ek is nog besig hier".
4. Horrible technique with weights way too heavy. I usually see this with people who are relatively new to the gym, they then do some sort of calf raise/shoulder press movement that they then call "dumbbell curls", and when it's people I know (I leave strangers to their own devices when it comes to horrible technique), I'll tell them straight to maybe try and improve their technique up a bit, to actually do a curl with their biceps. Their reply? "I can't! It's too hard!" Hmmm, interesting, how about lowering the weight and then trying again?
Many more things that annoy me in the gym, but I don't want to end up typing a novel!
Anyways, this is also my first post, so just want to introduce myself here. I am not currently on any steroids (juice, gear, whatever you guys wanna call it) and never have been, but I have decided to join up to do some research and find out valuable info before just jumping in, should I decide to start using some.
Looking forward to a great forum experience with you guys!

welcome! this website is really the most informative I have seen up to date. the members are friendly and always willing to help, use the search function for any questions you may have before opening new threads. don't ask about dbol only cycles and don't ask for steroid suppliers and your stay here will be long and enjoyable.
the other day there was a guy at our gy who occupied the latpulldown machine for 47min straight... I was very close to murder!

Yeah I have been "lurking" around the forum for a couple of days trying to get info and just reading up on everything in general, seems like a very friendly and informative forum indeed. Regarding the asking about suppliers and all that, don't worry, I have read the rules, so I'm fully aware of that (although to be honest, it is frustrating, because it makes it all the harder if one should want to obtain steroids, but the reasoning behind the rules makes sense, so I can't complain!)
And speaking of dbol, what I've read, heard and seen about dbol makes me think I probably wouldn't want to use it anyway haha, but thanks for the heads up!
As for gym pet peeves, the other day one of the female staff members grabbed me by the arm and said "Excuse me, could you please not drop the weights like that? You're going to damage them" fair enough I thought, apart from the fact that I barely dropped them, and as far as I recall it was from a fairly heavy set of dumbbell shoulder presses, so sometimes it's hard to put them down gently, as well as the fact that the weights were rubber, which meant they could withstand some of the dropping...
What aggravated me though, is all the varsity cup squad rugby players as well as the Springbok Sevens team (they work out in our gym a lot) taking up the weight section, and when they're not throwing around the weights and leaving them on the floor, they're staring at their muscles in the mirror. Also one or two of the guys who work at the gym, they have a tendency of throwing the weights down. So next time someone asks me to treat the weights better, I'll ask them to get some consistency going before they ask me that again

Yip! People leaving basically all the dumbells around the bench and walks away. I cant keep quite anymore so i call them back. Then i crap on the nearest VA staff member who actually stands there watching them do weights, that is too heavy for them, with real kak form and then watch them walk away. WTF!

Well if your job "depends" on it, it makes sense. I don't usually knock people wearing gloves though, it's just that most that do are the newbies just starting out (while texting on their phone throughout their workouts). I find that it's almost that they're scared of the weights. And callouses I don't mind. Yeah in the beginning it's crap with the skin peeling and everything, but as your hands get used to it, they look fine. And well, regarding the ladies...if I kept on doing what I did throughout my life to please the ladies, then I'd be a much unhappier man. To each his own!

Been gyming without gloves for 4years, I got callouses on my callouses. Doesn't get better tho. On the up side I'm sure I'd be able to grate cheese with these babies if I tries

@wayne as jy dom is moet jy sukkel lol. That's your friends own fault. Frontloading with prop and then onto sust could work. I'd start with the sust the same day with the prop.
A little off topic here, but I got a mate of mine 30ml supertest. He is doing a test only cycle, lol daai goed lyk eina. Mild rash & pain on in the quat. Seems like it really isn't meant for virgin muscle, I told him to go for test e lol.
