I used to be a regular at the Constantia Kloof VA up here in JHB, but then it went all.....queer and stuff.

I still go there on the weekends, Have all these plastic moulded weights. What irritates me is that they got rid of a line of weights just to put some step machines in.

Best gym in my experience..... Body Conscious in Randburg. Love that place, just needs some hard rock music or some metal.

Amen bro!! Body Conscious is probably the only body building gym (one that I know of) and the best in my opinion. And the owner was an ex-heavyweight SA champ.

Is it possible to have a work out at Body Conscious? Can you go, pay a fee and gym? I would like to go check it out.

@ Vega5: I'm sure you can, spk to the owner and he will help you. I use to bring my friends along for training sessions all the time and he didn't mind at all. And they didn't pay for entrance.

do you still go to body conscious mission?

You should be able to train for free, thats how i got introduced, one of my mates took me there a couple of years ago and we went every morning before work.

Owners name is Arnold, really nice guy, and all the guys are pretty helpful if you need any help with anything.

Yeah, i am good friends with Arnold and the whole bunch at Body Conscious. :) Unfortunately not anymore, I moved done to the Cape for work. Missing that gym a hell of a lot...

Learned about everyhting I know today from Arnold. My brother is training for his 1st show and Arnold is helping him and he has improved a hell of a lot since.
