I’m pleased to announce that our SSL certificate was approved by the Certificate Authority on Friday (2007-08-10). That means that our Secure Messenger is up and running; registered members will notice the button to it when they login. The SSL protocol allows us to communicate across a network in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.
For added security we have removed the ability for people to register by themselves; the only way you can get access to it is if an Administrator adds your username. This will ensure that only trusted people can use this feature.
If you feel that you have the need to discuss highly confidential information that cannot be seen by the public; please send me an
eMail
so that one of the Administrators can add you to the database.
