1st injection

Hi all! Had my 1st injection this morning. Must say i did not look forward to it. The thing is i felt absolutely nothing. Did not jab the thing in, it just slided in like a hot knife through butter. Is this normal not feeling anything? Im scared that i missed the muscle or something. Used a 23G 1.25 inch pin and took it all the way in. My ass is skinny so i dont see how i could have missed the muscle.

It sounds fine to me...

Some times I feel a "pop" as the needle enters the muscle.

What would happen if someone dont eiject into the muscle but the fat layer just above the muscle? Would it go to waste or just take longer to get absorbed?

Hey bro don't worry about missing the muscle, if you went in at ninety degrees you hit the muscle. The only pain is when you pierce the skin, after that sliding the needle into the muscle should not hurt at all if you do it right and keep your hand steady (no moving around side to side once in).

As for injecting subQ, the gear will still work but will be less effective as it will leach out to quickly, and may cause some rather nasty discomforts.
