And it can be used as a drug to get high on, similar effects to cocaine. Very addictive stuff.

No lets not deadlift as I need a double hip replacement haha

Incorrect about the drug part, i asked a specialist about it and he told me it was a load of crap...but i think their could be other properties in it to make u lose weight, not just appetite suppressant as it was given to obese people in the early days?

i need to do more research on this i think,

No, really.
You don't get "high", but you do get mellow or chilled.
People like it, especially combined with other drugs and alcohol...
Bad idea...

This good feeling is because of dopamine, and when ritalin is combined with alcohol etc you get drug interactions which gives you a "high" feeling. Ritalin will stimulate the release of dopamine which will also increase blood pressure and heart rate. But like any drug, there is a chance of becomming dependant on it

I take Ritalin quite often, i'm ADHD and also have Tourettes, which just makes life that much more interesting. Ritalin does suppress your appetite, and i never found any thermogenic properties to it. Just mellows me out, takes the edge off.

How does it manifest itself? Mild or severe? There was a guy where I studied who beat his dek continually throughout the day and his shouts of random mathematical things would eco down the corridors from time to time...

You can get it from a doc if you're VERY convincing. Problem is thats it addictive (more to some than others)

Depending on your mind and dosage the reaction is mild to extreme. So some people will basically just behave more relaxed while others (if you're head is very "busy" and you get a 20gr+ dosage) will for all intents and purposes have a personallity change.

Does have its place but not in gyming as far as I know.

Very mild. I have "tics", where i twitch my eyes etc, but not all the time. Also have authority issues and trust issues. There's a lot more to Tourettes than shouting out random things.

The easiest way to get it is befriending people who have children (naughty buggers) between the ages of 5 and 12. Its scary how easy children gets put on ritalin. Go for a braai and raid the medecin cupboard  I have a friend who is a teacher and she told me there is a huge amount of kids in her class on this. Scary shit!

It is scary. Some kids aren't even meant to be put on ritalin, the teachers complain to the parents and the parents put their kids on rits without proper or any diagnosis
