We have three gigabit fibre connections to two 1st tier ISPs. Only one line is being used because the highest we've gotten is 30% usage on one fibre. The other fibre is failover and the third has been sectioned off just for voice for a future project we got planned.

We also have various wireless connections but waiting for spectrum....

I play online quite a bit, yes nerdy .. and was chatting to a chap in Sweden, he was running off a 22mb line and the max they can get is a 100mb line.... yay we just got 4mb... really cant wait until we get good and fast lines down here.

4mb has been around for awhile, 8mb is coming soon.

oh ya, the 4mb uncapped sorry , have a few mates who have been on 4mb for a while but with cap and still get crap latency and ping on them, the guy i was talking to was getting 22mb uncapped at around the equivelant of R500p/m, i would ove to have that for cod...

The fastest connection I have is on an international box 100mb NIC, so i'm getting around 10/11mb / sec... 42mb sec is speeds a hard drive copies at. lol...

I have telkom ADSL 1G for R330/month. What i dont understand is around week 3 of the month my cap is finished. I dont download movies or music so what's up?

1G a month isnt much champ, u will use that quick, by searching websites sending emails all use cap... that 1G will get used up quick quick.

Very disappointed with Afrihost, reached 15Gig download and now they are throttling big time... Downloading a vid right now and only getting....4.2KB/s instead of the usual +-40KB/s on my 384kbs line!!!!!
