Anyone know of a reliable and reasonable courier to bring a package from the UK over to JHB?

Bought a new TM Driver & DHL wants almost as much as what i paid for the damn thing to begin with (75 Pounds)

Maybe try interparcel, they could bring the price down a bit.

From personal experience, I've had little issues with DHL, Fedex, TNT and UPS.

Never import anything using a cargo ship, because you will pay 2 times more to have it cleared by an clearing agent and it might take 2-3 months to get it from the port customs.

I once bought a R8000 part and paid R1500 for sea shipping, but had to pay another R12000 to have it cleared by a clearing agent and shipped to my location. I waited 2 months. The DHL shipping by air would have been R7000 something and would have taken only 10 days. It was 60Kg though.

DHL is worth the money. Bought my LCD TV from Amazon.co.uk and had it shipped with DHL. Within 5 days my TV was delivered to my front door. No hassles. Lucky for me they made some kind of mistake during checkout or I think they did, cause shipping was only £5.95. Paid tax and all the other usual things of course. Still worked out cheaper than buying locally.
