Why not use straps?
Chalk is very old school, before they invented gloves

It is not what car you drive, but the size of the arm hanging out the window.

Try find a store that has mountain climbing gear.

I use chalk when I reach the heaviest weights in my deadlift routine, or when I do shrugs.

I noticed sportmans wharehouse has some nice straps.. its like 40 bucks on .. so that 80 bucks in total.

I ended up buying the USN straps again.. Cheap and work pretty good..

I really haven't heard anything to that effect. I can max out on my deadlift (190kg) without even feeling any pain in my hands. When the tearing appart happens, I don't know. Perhaps with heavier weights?

I've never felt any discomfort using chalk. I also don't use gloves at all so my hands are pretty hardy. And surprisingly soft.
