MBA

Hi Guys! What's your opinion on doing a MBA degree? Been toying with the idea for 2 years now. Im getting different opinions from various people on whether its worth it or not. Its allot of money 2 fork out (around R130 000 doing it part time)and im still on the fence. Around 5-8 years ago it was realy in demand locally and internationally. Dont know if that really is the case still. Any opinions pls?

Yep it's a lot to fork out but I think MBA is the way to go these days, you can take it anywhere and you will never have trouble getting a job.

There are a lot of group projects that you have to do though and I hear the study material is a bit hectic but if you're up for it then go for it. You also can't get bursaries to pay for it so the money has to come out of your own pocket which is a bummer too

The study material is not so difficult but the workload is really hectic. Lots of groupwork and assignments. Takes up most of your free time for 2 years. Another thing to take into consideration

Do the PPM. Tough but the rewards a quicker and more if you ask me.
