Hi, yes. The more expensive 'jammers' really work fantastically. I got one for my dad from an underground source in Potchefstroom when I studied there a couple of years back. I paid R4000 for the one that can be fitted at the front and back. It was another R800 to have it installed professionally, because you really don't want to cut the bodywork and fuckup.

He never got one speeding ticket and it worked EVERY TIME... but the problem came when the speedcops realized that when they point the laser gun at the car, it appears like they are pointing at nothing. So he was stopped twice and was almost arrested both times, but he told them that he will put in his car whatever he wanted and they eventually told him to get lost.

He later sold the car with the unit, but don't want a new one as the car he is currently driving doesn't activate cruse control above 138Km/h anyway.

It is quite simple. All it does is scan a certain RF range and when it detects the signal it sounds an alarm. This is when the cool stuff kicks in.... it transmits a reverse polarity RF pulse at the exact range to "absorb" the one the laser gun uses, so the gun thinks it is pointing into the sky.

The military use similar devices to "jam" the enemy's radio transmissions. It can be used to jam WIFI as well, but I'm not going to go into much more detail about that... let's just say, I used to fuck around with everything you shouldn't...

If you want to get one, buy this, don't buy the windscreen detectors!

M-20 X-treme or M-40 X-treme

(File Removed)

I will get you into contact with guys that sell them at the moment.

BTW: Mythbusters tested homemade ones.

Oh yeah, according to the coppers they are illegal, but technically the detectors can never be illegal as they only provide information about a certain frequency RF, most new GPS' also provide info about cameras and usual spots for mobile cameras anyway.

As for the detectors... if the signal frequency is 2400 - 2500 MHz or 5400 - 5850MHz you can transmit whatever you want into the atmosphere as long as the max output power is below 200mW. So technically it should be legal, but then they will argue that you are RF jamming their equipment, which is illegal.

BTW: I know this because I used to be a lector in Wireless Networks and Security. Let me know if you need help messing with someones wireless stuff.
